I attended a church with what I thought had a pretty good men’s group. Showed up at the meeting and they were talking about how the new pastor had dressed up like doris day at the sunday evening outreach event. One man asserted he didn’t get up there and sing with him. Another said the new pastor wanted to borrow his wifes shoes.
I challenged the new pastor, “did you dress in drag and how does that honor God?
After much misdirection he told me it was fellowship.
I told him I could get better fellowship at the bars.
The amazing thing to me was not another man stood up with me.
The Church Of Mental Illness
Men don’t do social clubs, which is what church has turned into.
Sadly.
And 90% of the pastors are feminists.
No wonder men are uninterested.
This is one of the many reasons I am a non believer. From my early readings of the old testament, this would be a time, this SoB and his entire family and pets be slaughtered. This guy, up their in the spot light, makes the entire church a complete joke... the fact that the parishioners dont drag his ass out and hang him says they all are good with it!! What’s left of the church won’t last another 30 years...

All it takes for us to be out like a shot is to walk in and see screens on the wall, and/or electronic keyboards and drums on the platform.
My church has a liberal pastor, but we have a good music program, including an organ and a choir. Many of my conservative friends go to the local Calvary Chapel, but I can’t stand the “praise” music that they feature.

Lots of men at my Christ centered Bible teaching SBC church. Lots of young couples with young kids - preach the truth as truth and they will come.
