Father,
We thank You for Your word and its timelessness Truly there is nothing new under the sun in regards to those who oppose You and those who follow You.
Thank You that You are our protector and provider. Thank You that You will fight our battles for us and You will defend and protect us. Please open our eyes to see that reality in our lives.
Since You have commanded us to pray for our enemies, we do ask for the salvation of those who oppose us. Please convict them of their sin, remove from their hearts and minds the blindness which the enemy has blinded them with. Show them their need for salvation and give them hearts to turn to You. Then they will no longer be our enemies.
We ask for this world situation, particularly in the Middle East. Lord, please fight for Your people, both the Jewish nation in Israel, and all believers throughout that area who are experiencing persecution for placing their faith in You. Keep them safe and fight for them. Thwart the plans of those who would harm them and as David prayed, bring their plans back on their own heads, if they will not turn to You.
Please fight on our behalf for this great country. Give our leaders wisdom, discernment, and fortitude to do what You want, what is good and right and just. Protect our troops who are out there defending us. Bring them all home safely and unharmed.
And as we see You moving, let us not be negligent to give You the praise and glory.

Lord, we especially pray for the persecuted Christians in the middle east. Keep their hearts and their minds filled with Your Truth.
Amen and glory to God for each petition. Thank You, Father, for Your promise of the fruitfulness of our agreement here.
