And this is the confidence we have in Him,
that if we ask anything according to His Will, He hears us. We know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him - I John 5: 14-15

Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life;
you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies,
and your right hand delivers me.

Loving God,

Sometimes we pause and think about all the times You have rescued us----times when we were aware of Your hand holding us back, and times when we were completely unaware of what You did to prevent disaster in our lives. We simply marvel at Your faithfulness, Your mercy, and Your grace.

We rejoice in knowing that You show that same grace toward our leaders and our men and women in the military. Many face dangers daily, and yet You are with them, stretching out Your hand against the wrath of our enemies. Father, may Your right hand continue to deliver them. We humbly ask for Your wisdom to be shared with President Trump and all those who are making decisions about the Iran war. Please help our nation to secure a sure and timely victory.

Lord, we need every single Christian in this nation to vote in this upcoming election. May Your Spirit call each one to fulfill their responsibility to get to the polls and to vote for Godly men and women of integrity. And Lord, we come against every plot and scheme of the enemy to cheat in this election. In Jesus’ Name, we say that Your purposes shall prevail.

Lord, we pray that You would bring peace to our nation, to its people, and to our government. Please help us to restore our commitment to You and to Your Word. We cannot comprehend a time when our need for You has been more critical than right now. Give us a passion for the lost, and enable us, Lord, to work daily to lead others to You. Help us to honor You by spending time in Your presence each and every day. Bless Your people Israel, and may Your Name be glorified throughout this world. Thank You, Jesus for Your amazing grace and Your finished work upon the Cross. In the Name above all names---Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.
