"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

Oh, how wonderful, how pleasing it is when God’s people all come together as one! It is like the sweet-smelling oil that is poured over the high priest’s head, that runs down his beard flowing over his robes. It is like a gentle rain from Mount Hermon falling on Mount Zion. It is there that the Lord has promised His blessing of eternal life. (Psalm 133)

FATHER GOD,

Bless Your Name, Three in One – FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT.

Jesus prayed for His disciples and all who would follow after - “that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in me and I am in You” (John 17:21). Believers in Christ are united in Christ, and it pleases You when we all come together as one.

Look at America –“One Nation united under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” America, a nation, built in unity is at war with itself - Americans against aliens, young against senior citizens, freedom vs socialism – the list goes on.

May Christians have unity with one another. May we stand against evil and not compromise.

LORD, protect President Trump and his administration. Put a shield of protection around them. Give them strategy and victory against their enemies. May they work together as one. May our legislature work together for the good of the nation as one. May the judicial branch work to judge fairly and in truth as one.

May believers turn to You, give up their doublemindedness, and truly repent for their sins and change their wicked ways so You may forgive us and heal our land.

In JESUS’ Name we pray. AMEN.
