I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness - 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Dear GOD, today, I pray for our families, the families of our friends and neighbors, the families of our Nation at large. In this society of instant gratification, quick clicks of google for answers to questions, tech tools that drop responsibility for searching and seeking with the heart, our younger generation is at risk if parents are diligent in teaching and "planting the seeds of faith" to them through the Word of GOD, the doctrines of the Faith, the realities of sin and death, the Blessed Hope and the Power of the GOSPEL for Salvation and Eternal Life. Used to be that even families that did not personally take to heart this responsibility, at least devoted their children to Sunday School and Church. Now, even more prevalent since the enemy attack of Covid and people stopping going to church, more and more young people and children are in a desperate and vulnerable state.
We pray constantly the words of JESUS: Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest . . . but let it begin with us, with them. For as we see the signs of our times, the "in season and out" opportunities coming to and end to preach the WORD, may it never be said of us, of them, that we were to lazy, to preoccupied, to busy to plant leaving no harvest of souls saved in our families.
