I urge, then, first of all,
that requests, prayers, intercession,
and thanksgiving be made
for everyone:
for kings and all those in authority
that we may live peaceful and quiet lives
in all godliness and holiness.
~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Heavenly Father –
We’re into the 250th year of our nation, a quarter of a millennium.
And many senior citizens have lived more than a quarter of American history.
Yet, we are a brief act on this world stage as we march into the last days and the final curtain call before His comming.
As Moses said in the Psalms ….

America, born of freedom, by the blood of patriots and people of faith has been blessed.
Do we remember the source of our blessings?

But we have forgotten our heritage.
May we repent:
* Of ignorance of God’s Word.
* Of living in the flesh, not in the Spirit.
* Of apathy toward evil.
* Of living like God does not exist, especially during prosperous times..
* Of not teaching our children God’s Word and how to walk in His ways.
* Of not protecting the most vulnerable, especially children, from physical and spiritual harm.
May we turn back to the God of our founding fathers with all our heart.
May revival spark in our hearts and ignite another Great Awakening.
And may we continue, without ceasing….:

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Amen and thank you
Lord, we join together to pray for a revival of Your Holy Spirit.
May You once again be welcome in our government, our schools, our institutions, our communities and our homes.
May You once again be center to our culture.
Prayers and Amen.
Amen, Dear NEWwoman, in Jesus name.

Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
Amen
Amen.
