Holy Father,
On this beautiful Lord's Day, we praise Your Name, for You have done wonderful things. Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. Our Good Shepherd, You feed Your flock and gather the lambs with Your arms. You carry them in Your bosom and gently lead those who are with young. For You are the everlasting God, the Lord---Creator of the ends of the earth. You neither faint nor grow weary; Your understanding is unsearchable. We exalt You, Lord God, and we sing praises to Your glorious Name.
Lord, we confess that You protect our nation and its leaders. You care for our military men and women as they carry out their duties day by day. You are their strength always---a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat--a shelter for all those who seek refuge in the shadow of Your wings. Help us to keep our eyes lifted up unto You---the One Who is always ready to help those who place their trust in Your strength and truth. Please grant our President peace in these days of unrest, and may his heart be filled with Your love and wisdom in these times of vitriol and strife.
Lord, there are some who are attempting to turn the heart of this nation against Israel. May they not succeed. Lord, please help us to always stand with Israel and may You keep both nations in the center of Your Will.
Father, may the political forces attempting to push the socialist and communist agendas in this nation be revealed as pure foolishness. Please bring forth many strong voices to refute those who consider our Constitution to be lacking. Lord, may Godly men and women stand up for the truths upon which our nation was established, and may we always remember the guidance and direction You provided our Founding Fathers.
May we as Christians endeavor to take the Church to the streets and the message of salvation to every home. Please bring us out of our comfort zones, Lord, and help us to do the work You have called us to do. Grant us a passion for the souls of the lost, and hearts to love what You love.
Lord, we are grateful that You will go before us and behind us; above us and beneath us, and always within us. Oh Mighty King, how blessed we are to know the triune God----Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In the Name of Jesus Christ, we praise You for Your faithfulness and love, now and evermore. Amen.
