Dear Almighty and Everlasting God, We humbly come before You giving thanks for Your Unending Love, Your Gracious Gift of Salvation for those who believe in Your Son Jesus Who died an excruciating death for our sins.
You are in total control. Nothing escapes You. Your Word tells us that the end times will bring tribulation, that good will be seen as evil and evil, good. Evil is now abound and even confessed believers have gone the way of the world with righteousness not a virtue to be sought. You birthed this nation to evangelize the world but instead it has become a purveyor of filth, greed, and blasphemy.
May we heed Your Word, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people.” (Proverbs 14:34)
We ask for Your Divine protection and direction for President Trump, Vice-President Vance and leaders in this nation who are seeking to do what is right for our nation by first and foremost seeking Your Will. Please bless and protect those who have answered the call to defend our nation's freedoms and constitutional rights and those who are spreading Your Gospel both nation and world wide.
Heavenly Father, we continue to pray against criminal intent & malfeasance by world leaders and by political parties in our own country . . . that their ways are uncovered and justice served. We ask for Your Hope, Your Protection, Your Guidance for those who have fallen victim to such malfeasance.
Although each of us bears some responsibility for the evil engulfing day to day living, we are painfully aware of the church’s role in our nation’s demise. We pray for an awakening of those under the leadership of lukewarm leaders who choose to refrain from being led by Holy Spirit in their teaching, preaching, and worship. We pray that those who find themselves under such leadership will immediately seek a church that has not and will not compromise Your Word.
May we continue to daily seek You, Holy Spirit, to guide our every path. Please put Your Fire within us to do what is necessary to witness to a lost and dying world, a world that needs a Savior . . . Jesus Christ. Please cause a revival in the hearts and minds of every Christian . . . a revival that begins with a self-evaluation of what is personally being done with the time, gifts and talents You have given us.
Father God, help us remember that every time we leave our homes or churches or while on the phone, handhelds and computers, we are entering Your Mission Field.
May You find each of us daily praying, “Jesus, please shine in my life so that I will be a blessing to someone. Have Your Way with me Lord in Your Service.”
