America Prayer Vigil - 5/12/26 [Prayer]

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Agri-Business; End to Sex Slavery; Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14

Oh! Father, what a joy it is to be one with You. You put Your Spirit in us to lead, enlighten and cause us to move with the heart of God. We pray that Your children will do this more zealously and accurately.

Today, Sir, I have several unrelated petitions to place before Your throne.

We pray for Secretary Markwayne Mullin. Father, thank You for putting one of Your own into such an important position. He began assignment tied up with the chains of the politically motivated budgetary block of funding for his department. We ask You to give him the vision, favor, tools and wisdom from You to accomplish his mission of keeping us safe. Restore to his department the people of skill and training who were forced to find employment elsewhere. Show him how to prepare for the upcoming attacks of which You alone are aware, including the ‘28 Olympics. Father, please surround him with assistants that have Your best will for America in their hearts and minds. May they follow the example in our White House of regular prayer to You. Assign him enough prayer warriors and angels to accomplish his mission. Protect and comfort his family, giving them maximum time together.

We pray for the members of Your body in Iran. We trust Your ability to protect, keep and provide for them. Release Your courage, hope and vision for their supernatural safety. We are reminded of the way You cared for the Israelites in Goshen during the plagues of Egypt and Your Word, “The Lord will establish you as a people holy [and set apart] to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk [that is, live your life each and every day] in His ways. 10 So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will be afraid of you.” (Deut. 8:9,10)

We also pray for President Trump’s visit to China. On his behalf, we receive Your promise, “For I [Myself] will give you a mouth and such utterance and wisdom that all of your foes combined will be unable to stand against or refute.” We ask and trust You to order the outcome according to Your good will for our United States of America and the peoples of the earth.

Thank You for Your power and might to work for our good. We love and honor You in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Let us honor the sacred pair, who translated divine scripture / pouring forth a fountain of divine knowledge from which we still draw today. / Now as you stand before the throne of the Most-high / we call you blessed, Cyril and Methodius, / as you fervently pray for our souls.

This post is one day late, but is important. Cyril and Methodius made it possible for Slavic people (especially East Slavic people) to have the Scriptures and the Divine Services in their own languages.

May the Lord raise up servants who will enable Persians to have the Scriptures and the Divine Services in their own languages. Amen!
