Holy Lord,
You have told us to be anxious for nothing and to give our concerns and anxious thoughts to You. Yet we confess that we live in a time and place where there is much that disturbs our peace. Help us, Father, to do as You have taught us---to cast our cares upon You, for You care for us. You show us that even the flowers of the field have no cares because You care for them. How much more shall You care for Your beloved children?
Lord, our hope is built on the blood of Jesus, His righteousness, and His finished work upon the Cross. We cannot fix the problems of this world, but we can bring our cares to You and lay them at Your feet. What a blessing it is to know that You care for us, Lord, and You give us the precious gift of prayer so that we can lay our burdens upon You. Thank You, Lord, that You are never too busy to hear our concerns, and You promise to answer every prayer we lift up to You.
With the confidence of Your Word, we say that You care for our President, the Vice-President and Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth as they make tremendously important decisions regarding the protection of our own country and others. You care for our military men and women as well as their families. We know that You preserve their going out and their coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Father, we confess that You hear our prayers in the day of trouble on behalf of our first-responders, our military personnel who may be assigned to Iran including our ICE agents. We know that the Name of our God of Jacob defends them. You send help and strength to them, supplying all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Thank You for being the One True Mediator Who ever lives to make intercession for us all. Be exalted, O Lord, in Your own strength: so will we sing and praise Your power.
Father, may Your disciples be ever ready to proclaim the reason for our hope---Jesus Christ, our Lord. Help us to be saved from this perverse generation that rejects the Name above all names. May we always be alert to every opportunity to share our testimony of the One Who died so that we may have life eternal with Him. Thank You for so great a Love that You sent us, Holy God.
Lord, we are thankful that You live; and we bless You, our Rock. May the God of our salvation be exalted both now and evermore. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
Please join us in prayer on this Lord’s Day. Thank you!

So true, Norsky. We would be better off spending that time reading what God says about what is taking place, I think. Nothing surprises Him and He has an answer for every situation. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

O Lord, save Your people, / and bless Your inheritance. / Grant victories to Your Holy Church, / over her adversaries. / And by virtue of Your Cross / preserve Your habitation!

Now the flaming sword no longer guards the gates of Eden; / it has mysteriously been quenched by the wood of the Cross! / The sting of death and the victory of hell have been vanquished; / for You, O my Savior, have come and cried to those in hell: / “Enter again into paradise.”

Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
Amen
