Now that the whole world is talking about the Third Temple in Jerusalem, let’s go there.

I am a Jew, a Chabad’nik, a Rabbi, so you can trust what I’m going to share a lot more than what podcasters have tried to share in ‘my name’.

First, the old news:

Yes, Jews believe that we will have a Third Temple, on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, in the same location where our first two Temples once stood. It’s not some secret that the Mossad is hiding, nor something that Chabad subtly pushes, and certainly not a code being signaled through patches on IDF uniforms.

It has been in the public record for thousands of years:

2800 years ago, Isaiah prophesied: “… concerning Judah and Jerusalem … at the end of the days, the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be firmly established at the top of the mountains … and many peoples shall go, and they shall say, “Come, let us go up to the Lord’s mount, to the house of the God of Jacob …”

2600 years ago, Ezekiel prophesied: “In the visions of God … He placed me on a very lofty mountain and upon it was like the building of a city from the south … And He said to me, this is the place of My throne where I shall dwell … this is the teaching of the House; Upon the top of the mountain, all its boundary round about shall be most holy…”

Good to see some “ awareness”, I am willing to bet 99 percent of Americans have no interest or no knowledge of the Third Temple or what is fulfills, which illustrates our sorry spiritual state.

Yes, Jesus is the true temple, but God will still work through the misplaced priorities of the modern Jews.

The entire nation of Israel will convert to Jesus Christ at His perfect timing.

You are correct, the physical Temple in Jerusalem was a “prefigurement” or a prototype, and Jesus’ own body is the definitive Temple.

As imabadboy pointed out, the Roman Emperor Julian (4th century), tried to rebuild the Temple specifically to disprove Christ’s prophecy. Fire came from the earth to stop the work, which was a divine sign that the Temple is not meant to be rebuilt.

The Bible has much to say about a third temple. It will indeed be built. Sacrifice will resume. However, it will not be blessed by the God of Israel. Why? Because the final sacrifice has already been made (Isaiah 53, Daniel 9)

Isaiah 66:1 Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? […] 3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. 4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Because the coming third temple is not blessed by God, The God of Israel will allow the Antichrist to set up an image of himself in the Holy Place. This is called the Abomination of Desolation. Smart Jews will understand this coming event and flee Judea like Jesus Christ warned them (Matthew 24).

Christians believe there will be a third temple because in order to have an abomination in the temple — as is mentioned in the book revelations-/ you have to have a temple.

My opinion is that the temple will not be built until warp drive is invented and the first group goes off to the stars. The abomination will not come until many many different groups have gone off to the stars.

The abomination will be the statue of a man. Why a man? By that time humanity will have cracked up into many different species— as was the case case up until 100000 years ago. The statue of a man in the temple will be a declaration of the primacy of man over the other species of men.

Look at your generations old men and consider which ones will go to the stars. Which ones indeed. What did Jesus say? The meek shall inherit the earth.
