Holy God,
You have set Your glory above the heavens! When we consider the vastness of all You have created, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained . . . then we stand in awe of You, Lord God. We bow before You for You are Holy and Worthy of our praise. We confess that You have done great and mighty things by speaking them forth. Holy God, how excellent is Your Name in all the earth.
May we think upon You, Your Word, Your Name, and Your power. May we consider those things that are true, and honest, just and pure, those things that are lovely and of good report. Help us to focus our days on You, Lord, and to turn our eyes away from evil things. Our strength lies in our connection to You through the Spirit.
We confess, Lord, that our nation has sinned against You. Have mercy on us, Lord, for we desire repentance from such evil. We confess that we have fallen far away from You and that the current level of discourse in America is but one indication of how far we have moved from You. We ask Your forgiveness, Lord, and we ask for the restoration of this once great land.
Our military men and women need You and they need the prayer support of those whom they represent and defend. Help these precious ones, Lord, and keep them strong in Your power and might as You faithfully add to their ranks. May Christ dwell in each of their hearts by faith and may they be rooted and grounded in Your love. We pray special prayers for those military chaplains who in previous administrations have been denied the right to pray in the Name of Jesus. Father, bless our current Commander-in-Chief and reward all those who have been unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Be their Banner and Shield, their Sure Defense. Thank You for the good report our President received on his recent physical. May he continue to have the energy, stamina, wisdom, and courage to do the work You have set before him. Father, please give Your angels charge over him, his cabinet members, our first responders, and the ICE agents as they continue their work for this nation. And may Your Name be glorified in all they do to preserve and protect our nation.
Father, each new day presents many opportunities for every one of us to honor You, serve You, and love You. Help us to put away any worthless wastes of our time, and may we spend our days in meaningful service and fellowship with You. We have but one life to live on this earth, Lord, and we ask You to help each of us to host Your presence here, so that Your will may be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the Name of Jesus Christ, we humbly bow our heads together in unity across America. Amen.

Prayer To Be Good And Faithful Witness To You
Dear Lord, how we praise and thank You, and worship You for Your greatest of all gifts, in sending the Lord Jesus to be our Saviour and Friend and for dying in our place on the cross, to pay the price for our sins.
Thank You that when two or three are gathered together in Your name You are there in our midst. And thank You Father, for the many blessings that You shower over each one of us day by day. Give us grateful hearts and a willingness and desire to share with others the grace and mercy that You have showered on us day by day, without measure.
Help us Lord, to demonstrate Your great love and grace to all those that cross our paths today. May we be ready and willing to be faithful witnesses of You and to give an answer for what we believe, so that many may also come to know You and to accept Jesus as their own personal Saviour and friend, because they saw Him in us.
Help us to edify and uplift other members of Your body and in all things to be Your hands and feet, Your eyes and ears and Your heart of love in all we say and do today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
