AMERICA PRAYER VIGIL - 9/20/25 [PRAYER]

THAT IF THOU SHALT CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH THE LORD JESUS, AND SHALT BELIEVE IN THINE HEART THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, THOU SHALT BE SAVED. FOR WITH THE HEART MAN BELIEVETH UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND WITH THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION (Romans 10:9-10).

Heavenly Father, In these uncertain and troubling times one thing is certain YOU ARE IN TOTAL CONTROL. You hold the answer for not only our country’s problems but for each and everyone of us. We have taken our freedom for granted, focused on self interests, put aside the importance of our Constitution, and have passed laws and made decisions in government that are certainly not of Your Will. Little attention is being given by those in authority to place their faith and trust in You . . . we are a nation that is either not exhibiting or giving lip service to one nation under God and In God We Trust.

Every day brings more anguish, pain, bewilderment . . . these are emotional times. Father God, shake this country, its people, its churches back to reality . . .the reality that You are in charge of our next breath, our country's existence and every individual’s future.

It is disconcerting to witness our innocent children growing up in these subversive and evil times . . . children who are not being shown “the Light of the World is Jesus.” It is disheartening to find in the local obituaries faith not included as an attribute of the deceased. My immediate thought . . . did anyone try to reach out and witness to these individuals? And am I personally doing my best to share Jesus?

Father God, Please provide supernatural protection for President Trump, Vice-President Vance, their families, and those in all levels of government who are looking to you for direction and answers. Give them the strength and boldness to do the right thing. Please expose the evil ones who are leading us on a path of destruction and bring about swift justice.

We, as Christians, know this world is not our home. I am grateful for Your forgiving me of wasted time, talents and collections of useless treasures. Help us in these end days to follow Your instruction in evangelizing the country . . . the world. Please send a great revival that cannot be contained and let it begin in our families and Your Church . . . the Church that stands for righteousness and does not cave to social discourse.

We ask for blessings for those who are sacrificing their lives to keep us safe as well as blessings for their families. Help us also do the right thing for individuals and families who are experiencing physical, financial, and emotional problems in these difficult times.

We pray that our country will never waive in support of Your most favored nation Israel.

We thank you for Free Republic that provides an excellent opportunity for corporate prayer. Many of our Freeper pray warriors are experiencing health issues. We ask in the Name of Jesus Name for Your Divine Healing Touch.

We don’t deserve anything Lord, but please please keep us safe in Your Everlasting Arms and give us the opportunity and the ability to share the Gospel . . . the Good News of Your Son Jesus . . . how He gave His Life for all . . . the Free Gift of Salvation and an eternity in Heaven . . . that only comes by repenting of sin and acknowledging Him as Lord and Savior.

1 O Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger,

“There is an ideology that has steadily been growing in this country which hates everything that is good, righteous and beautiful and celebrates everything that is warped, twisted and depraved. Lord God, help us to Bind, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, the Strongman over this item. We do so now. We loose upon the evil strongman doing this the spirits of burning, destruction, judgement and confusion, and loose the warring angels of God to attack and destroy them. We loose the Holy Spirit of truth, salvation, and conviction on the persons so influenced. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Prayer For Future Generations

Dear Heavenly Father, today I come to Your throne of grace to pray for the next generation of young people. Protect those who know You as their Saviour from being negatively influenced by the unbiblical worldview that is flooding our schools and colleges today, and also for those young people that have not yet trusted You as their Saviour, or who have become disillusioned with their life, and without hope in the world.

Father, skepticism and relativism seems to be flooding the into the educating system and causing many young people to become confused about their faith and to walk away from what they once held dear. I pray You would stem the flood of secular humanism and the various ungodly philosophies that are sweeping through the nation, and reveal Yourself to a generation that has strayed so far from the truth of Your Word.

I am sorry Lord, that as individuals and as a nation we have strayed so far from Your precepts and have allowed a generation to be born that has little knowledge or understanding about Your glorious plan of salvation and the glorious gospel of grace. In Your mercy, move in this next generation and halt the cultural tide that has undermined our roots, and caused us to become disconnected from You the only source of life and light. I pray You would move this generation to turn back to the God who created them and sent His only begotten Son to die for their sins. In Jesus’ name, amen.
