America Prayer Vigil - 8/19/25 [Prayer]

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Agri-Business; End to Sex Slavery; Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

From Psalm 33: Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful. Sing to Him a new song;

For the word of the Lord is right And all His work is done in truth. He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.

By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect.

Father God, the Nations of the world need You. You see the thoughts and purposes of all the Nations’ rulers– their pride and selfishness and evil desires for power or their desire to serve You in Truth. We cannot accurately see those things so we turn them over to You in faith. You are good. You are powerful. You are righteous. Your counsel stands forever and the plans of Your heart to all generations.

We pray for President Trump and his administration. Give them wisdom, insight and skill as they maneuver leaders to fulfill Your purposes and plans. Give them the trigger words to say in order for them to move the way You would have them move. Specifically, we pray for President Putin, President Zelenskyy, Chairman Xi Jinping, Leader Kim Jong Un, leaders of the European Union. If you have new people to move into those positions of leadership, bring them forth! Speak to them in the nighttime hours, through Truth bearers You send them, ministering angels, visions or however You can touch them. Prepare them to accept Your perfect plans.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.’ In the midst of all of these negotiations, we speak a blessing over Israel, Your beloved.

“No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.” We look to You in this situation which is confusing to us, but not to You. Our soul waits for the Lord. You are our help and our shield. “For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name. Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.”

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Is. 9:6)

Affirming the promises of Scripture and that our help comes from the Lord.

Joining in prayer for our beloved America.

Protect and keep President Trump from enemies within as well as outside our borders.

Grant him Wisdom and strength and courage and discernment through the Power of the Spirit.

May all the wicked schemes that have been concealed be revealed.

Grant God’s people a heart of repentance and spark revival in our land.

4 For you are not a God who delights in wickedness;
evil will not sojourn with you.
5 The boastful will not stand before your eyes;
you hate all evildoers.
6 You destroy those who speak lies;
the Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful.

7 But I, through the abundance of your steadfast love,
will enter your house,
I will bow down towards your holy temple
in awe of you.
8 Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness
because of my enemies;
make your way straight before me.

9 For there is no truth in their mouths;
their hearts are destruction;
their throats are open graves;
they flatter with their tongues.
10 Make them bear their guilt, O God;
let them fall by their own counsels;
because of their many transgressions cast them out,
for they have rebelled against you.

11 But let all who take refuge in you rejoice;
let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them,
so that those who love your name may exult in you.
12 For you bless the righteous, O Lord;
you cover them with favour as with a shield.

Prayer For The Leaders Of All Nations

Lord, I come to You today to pray for the nations of the world and their leaders and governors. Whether a nation is governed by a king or queen, a prince or president, a prime minister or some other form of governance, we pray for each one, that they may fulfil Your plans and Your purposes, in whatever they do, in their lands.

I ask Your blessing on those that are seeking to follow Your ways and I pray for Your pity and mercy on those that are deliberately defying You as the Creator God.

Lord, I know that You are the One that places rulers in their high positions of honour, and You are also the one that removes leaders from their elevated perches. I pray that in Your grace and mercy, You would look down on the nations of the world and intervene with those that are severely oppressing their own people.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord and whether at a national level or in local governance, I pray Your blessing on those men and women that are seeking to follow Your way, as they implement their authority. I also know, Lord, that the opposite is true and that those who defy the living God will come to no good.

Have pity Lord, and convict the leaders of our nations to turn to You. Protect the people that are having to live in nations with a corrupt or evil government. And may the Lord Jesus Himself return very soon to set up His perfect kingdom in this world, when the earth will be filled with a true knowledge of You. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
