Holy God,
We confess Your lovingkindness and Your tender mercies, Lord, according to all the love that You have bestowed on us. Surely we are blessed because we know You. Let us greatly rejoice in You, and may our souls be joyful in You. For You have clothed us with the garments of salvation and covered us with the robe of righteousness.
Lord, we hear many reports of wars, terrorism, and antisemitism., Indeed, there is great fear in this world. Yet we know that You are God and You take care of those who have chosen to place their trust in You. You are the First and the Last----our Redeemer, the Lord of hosts. We commit our families to You for Your protection, and we speak the words of Psalm 91 over them, confessing that You give Your angels charge over our loved ones as we lift them up to You.. Because we have set our love upon You, Lord, we know You will deliver us. You set us on high because we have known Your Name.
Lord, again we pray for strength for President Trump as he continues to battle the evil fortresses that have been established in our government. Please keep him faithful to You and Your ways. May he not grow weary in doing good, but may he draw daily from Your strength. We confess that You care for our military men and women, first responders and ICE agents as they carry out their duties day by day. You are their fortress always---a refuge from the storm, and a shade from the heat. Grant them comfort in these trying times and give them Your peace in these days of unrest. Please quiet them with Your love, Precious Lord.
Bless Your people Israel with Gospel messages and invitations to accept the true Savior, Jesus Christ. Help us to take the church to the streets and the message of salvation to every soul. Bring us out of our comfort zones, Lord, and help us to do the work You have called us to do. Grant us a passion for the souls of the lost and may we make disciples of all nations.
How comforting it is to know that You have gone to prepare a place for us----a place where fighting and strife shall cease, where those who abuse power will be no more, and where there are no more tears, sickness, or sorrow. Lord, help us to do our part to advance Your Kingdom so that we can hasten the day of Your return. Even so, Lord, come quickly. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
Please come and pray with us. The Creator of the Universe has promised to listen and respond.

Psalm 79
A Psalm of Asaph.
1 O God, the nations have come into your inheritance;
they have defiled your holy temple;
they have laid Jerusalem in ruins.
2 They have given the bodies of your servants
to the birds of the air for food,
the flesh of your faithful to the wild animals of the earth.
3 They have poured out their blood like water
all around Jerusalem,
and there was no one to bury them.
4 We have become a taunt to our neighbours,
mocked and derided by those around us.
5 How long, O Lord? Will you be angry for ever?
Will your jealous wrath burn like fire?
6 Pour out your anger on the nations
that do not know you,
and on the kingdoms
that do not call on your name.
7 For they have devoured Jacob
and laid waste his habitation.
8 Do not remember against us the iniquities of our ancestors;
let your compassion come speedily to meet us,
for we are brought very low.
9 Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us, and forgive our sins,
for your name’s sake.
10 Why should the nations say,
‘Where is their God?’
Let the avenging of the outpoured blood of your servants
be known among the nations before our eyes.
11 Let the groans of the prisoners come before you;
according to your great power preserve those doomed to die.
12 Return sevenfold into the bosom of our neighbours
the taunts with which they taunted you, O Lord!
13 Then we your people, the flock of your pasture,
will give thanks to you for ever;
from generation to generation we will recount your praise.
Joining in prayer. God bless.
Amen
Amen
