Pastor Prays That God Forgives Christians Who Ignore Babies Killed in Abortions
Life News ^ | June 20, 2025 | Pastor Chad McDonald

Posted on 06/24/2025 8:43:39 AM PDT by Morgana

This magnificent prayer was delivered at the opening session of the 54th Annual National Right to Life Conference in Overland Park, Kansas

Father, we come to You today with a deep sense of gratitude. We are grateful for your love, and we are grateful for the salvation that you have provided in Christ. We are grateful because we know that everything is from you and through you and to you. And every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights in whom there is no shifting shadow.

We praise you for the opportunity to gather – we praise you that we continue to live in a country that grants us the freedom to gather in this way. And we pray for the men and women currently serving to protect our freedoms.

We thank you for the leaders and volunteers and sponsors that have made this possible.

Father, your word is clear. Every child that grows in the womb from the moment of conception is a child that is made in Your image, knit together by You, and fearfully and wonderfully made. Father, I pray that this gathering and this conference will unify our hearts around this primary and permanent truth of the dignity of man and woman made in your image and that from this gathering and this time you would embolden Your people to live, vote, and speak in defense of those who cannot speak for themselves.

Forgive us for any sense of apathy or indifference on this issue, as millions of babies each year are aborted in our nation, we pray that you would raise up more men and women with a David like courage and a Paul like conviction to say – NO MORE! Not on our watch! That we would have the courage to look the enemy in the eye and say – YOU AREN’T GETTING THROUGH THIS GATE!

That the people of God and God fearing people all over this nation would rise up with one voice and stand together on this issue to protect the sanctity of life.

Father, we pray for the leadership of our local communities and states. We pray especially even now for President Donald J. Trump. May You keep Your good hand of favor upon him and may You strengthen and protect him. May you place wise counselors around him as he makes such weighty decisions in these critical days.

So, Lord now, we give this time to you. May You do more in this time than we could ever ask think or imagine and do it in such a way that Christ alone gets the glory. Amen.

There are plenty of Christians who don’t give a flip about the slaughter of the unborn. It’s not that they’re pro-abortion, they just don’t care either way.

What becomes of the souls of those babies? They met none of the requirements for salvation yet are sinless.

I haven't ignored the issue, yet I also understand that once the aborters have been given over
to a reprobate mind there is little I can do except brush the dust off of my sandals.

On their own souls let it lay.

Christian denominations that promote or allow congregational members to advocate, legislate, assist, and/or participate in elective abortions have, because of such actions, declared themselves to be apostate and no longer part of the Christian community.

One example of that is the so-called “Evangelical Lutheran Church in America” (aka XXXA).

Bingo!! If Paul were living today, he would preach a similar rebuke.

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths." - 2 Timothy 4:3-4

How about those women who present themselves for abortion and then too, the abortionists.

I would argue that since they have committed no sin then there is no punishment: Revelation 20: 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.

There are plenty of conservatives here who care little about the slaughter of the unborn.

What becomes of the souls of those babies? They met none of the requirements for salvation yet are sinless.

They are innocent, and though born with a sinful nature, the unborn, as with those who die "before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good" (Isaiah 7:16) are not responsible/culpable for any sin, much less that of Adam, for while they experience effects of the choices of parents - both evil as well as good (as does nature: Romans 8:21) - yet they are not responsible for their actions, nor for the sin of Adam,

Judicially punishing them for the sin of their federal head is contrary to one of the most repeated teachings of Scripture (Dt. 24:16 ; 2 King. 14:5,6; 2 Chron 25:4; Jer 31:29, 30; Eze 18:20) versus simply suffering consequences of the Fall. (Romans 8:22)

And like as "the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God" (Romans 8:21) so may we not expect that the unborn as well as other morally insensible creatures who are not conscious of God will realize the the glorious liberty of the children of God, and all that this requires?

Or are we to believe that they are damned for what Adam did?

However, they will not see the rewards given to the tested, tried and faithful believers, (1 Co. 3:8-15; Revelation 11:18) are the judgment seat of Christ, all by the grace of God and to His glory.

“What becomes of the souls of those babies? “

I recall reading the first “Left Behind” book. There’s a scene in an airplane where a woman passenger is pregnant. After the rapture occurs, she’s sitting in her seat, not pregnant anymore.

Thanks you brother.
Last time I checked the WHO’S worldometer the number of abortions exceeded 200,000 per day!
So the equivalent of the holocaust every month.
Come Lord Jesus!

“Hindus say they are recycled.”

Yes. IIRC, that is where the notion of “karma” comes from.

People use the word incorrectly all the time. They chalk it up to karma if something bad (or good) comes your way during your lifetime in response to something you’ve done or the way you’re living your life.

Karma REALLY is how you come back in your next life.

“Karma is intricately linked to the Hindu concept of rebirth. The quality of one’s actions in one life determines the circumstances of their next life.” (AI)

Limbo is a theological concept in Roman Catholicism referring to a state or place for souls who die in original sin without being condemned to hell. It is traditionally divided into two types: the Limbo of the Fathers, for those who died before Christ, and the Limbo of Infants, for unbaptized children who cannot enter heaven but do not suffer punishment.
