We come with grateful hearts, with hearts overwhelmed by Your love and tender mercies. Thank You for giving us life in America and for all the blessings of this great land. We thank You for Your Holy Scriptures which You have preserved for thousands of years for our good and blessing. Thank You for the faithful Jews who recorded Your Words, protected, and preserved them – often at great risk and peril. We have Your Word to guide and comfort us, to give us wisdom and common sense.
When the Ark would travel, Moses would say, “Arise Oh Lord, and let Your enemies be scattered, and let them that hate You flee from You.” For, from, Zion will go forth the Torah, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Blessed be He, Who in His holiness, gave the Torah to His people Israel.
We lift up Israel and pray for the conflict with Iran to be settled with peace. This has been a long war. Many have died on both sides now. We pray for P.M. Netanyahu to seek Your face in every decision he makes for his country. Many in Israel, like America, have strayed from Your Word. Open the eyes of the people of Israel to return to Torah – and to recognize Yeshua as the Messiah. Complete surrender – complete obedience – total love of Your Word, Your Will, and Your Ways. This is the ultimate peace.
We pray the same for America and for President Trump. Open His eyes and heart to Your Torah and the importance of obedience to Your Truth – not a church, a denomination, a preacher or a teacher. Draw him to his knees in total surrender to You. He is a great man. He has done great things, but we pray for him to use his abilities to turn America back to You. May he be a godly role model for young men in our country.
We watch him and see the burden he is carrying. We see the many enemies he is fighting daily. He is strong, very strong, but show him that he can have greater strength through Your power. Not just a mental agreement that You exist, but a life-changing knowledge to the depth of his soul, that will influence the future of our country, and that will put in place righteousness – Your holy righteousness.
We thank You that You have the whole wide world in Your hands. Remind us when we tremble at the thought of war, that You are in control. Nothing happens that takes You unaware. You are watching over Israel – the apple of Your eye. You will not forsake her. You will bless those who bless her and curse those who curse her. You will deal with Iran and any other that strikes her. You will bless America for standing with her.
Blessed are You, Oh Lord, the Holy God, Who makes the Shabbat holy. Blessed are You, Oh Lord, Who restores Your Presence to Zion. Blessed are You, Oh Lord, Whose Name is Ha Tov (The Good One) and to Whom it is fitting to give thanks. Blessed are You, Oh Lord, Who makes peace for Your people Israel.
On this Shabbat, as we read Luke 21 and Revelation 22 – may we recognize the signs of the times and be ready for Messiah’s coming. Use us to point people to the Torah and Yeshua, our Messiah.
