Islam is a Christian heresy so I guess in a roundabout way it was created by Catholic missionaries

I’m not selling anything, only presenting the evidence, from a guy that was as Catholic as they come. If anyone would know, he would.

Why would such an assertion even be made? The Muslim fight has always been with the serious Abrahamic religion, Judaism, and the various Arabic tribes vacillated between dozens, perhaps hundreds, of variations of the original Abrahamic doctrines until it was taken up by Muhammed and his followers in the seventh century, when Muhammed first began the transcriptions of his visions.

Visions which may or may not have been divinely inspired, judging from the way in which those visions have been applied.

Satan was Lucifer, light bearer. Any connection between God and satan kind of zero at that point.

Former Catholic means....satan worshiper.

Former Catholic = “former” Satan-worshipper? Is that what you mean?

well, no :)

If you read Robert Spencer’s book “The Truth about Muhammad” and “the Mecca Mystery” by Peter Townsend and “Did Muhammad exist” by Robert Spencer and “The hidden origins of Islam” by Karl-Heinz Ohlig and view this excellent historical video by Tom Holland — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2JdTrZO1To&t=2s

Pre-600 AD
- The Romans and the Sassanids are fighting
- The Sassanid Persian kings mother and wife were both Christians and he, Khushru II, was pro-Christian. He had in fact been restored to power from an usurpur thanks to a Roman emperor.
- unfortunately THAT roman emperor was bumped off by a roman usurper and Khushru started a war of revenge. Ultimately that usurpur was usurped by another guy - Heraclius, but the war was underway
- the war last for 30 years

- the war was fought mainly between the PROXIES of the Romans and the Persians - in southern Iraq (part of the Persian empire) you had the Lakhmid ARAB tribes who were Nestorian Christians, while in Syria you had the Ghassanid ARAB tribes who were Monophysite Christians.

- The Syrians were Monophysites as were the Copts in Egypt, so most of the Semitic Christians were alienated from the Orthodox Church in Anatolia/Constantinople.

- when Khushuro was overthrown, the Arab rulers decided “hey, these guys are exhausted, let’s take over” - and they did

- you had the Ummayyad rulers - who are called “the first caliphs” by Mohammedans - and these guys
1. don’t mention any Mohammed
2. don’t mention any Quran
3. don’t mention any “Islam’
4. Mint coins with a Christian cross on them

Long (and I mean long - but seriously read those books and watch that video) story short, these were as mix of Gnostic Christianity with Judaizing Christianity.

These called Jesus “the praiseworthy one” - and that title in Arabic is “muhammad” - and they didn’t worship him as God, but as a prophet.

100 years later, these Ummayyad are overthrown by the Fatimids who decide to create a Arab religion - and take this Muhammad title and make it into a man. They take the Quran, which originated as the qeryan (a breviary) in Syriac and transliterate it to ARabic.

In the Quran if you read it, it makes numerous references to the Biblical books - and next to never gives a complete story.

At the same time, in the Quran you have 120+ mentions of Moses, a large nunmber of mentions of Jesus and only 4 of a “muhammad” - and each time the word is used as a title.

we only end up witht he Muhammad we know and love (/sarc) iin the 9th century when the biography of Mo is written - this is like someone in 2022 writing a Biography of George Washington based on hearsay.

MO was an amalgamation of centuries of stories about different warlords and others merged into one - just like the creation of Robin hood.

Islam also got its codification at the same time - and in the same place - as the Halakha and the Talmud were being finalized - in 9th century Baghdad.

So this started off as non-Orthodox Christianities = Gnosticism, Nestorianism, Ebionites, merged and then a pagan Arab belief and Zoroastrian beliefs are added into the mix.

well, yes, a Satan worshipper - a Seventh-Day Adventist.

After all, the Adventists have a false prophetess, Ellen G White as their founder.
