Evangelist Franklin Graham has commented on whether God is “judging” Hollywood as catastrophic wildfires continue to ravage Los Angeles, destroying entire communities.
Speaking about the situation, Graham, the CEO of Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, stated, “People have lost everything. A lot of people are asking ‘Why?’ and that’s a hard question to answer.” He added, “We want to reassure them of God’s love — that He cares for them and that He hasn’t turned His back on them.”
The fires have claimed at least 24 lives and burned through 40,000 acres in the Greater Los Angeles area, destroying over 12,000 structures and displacing more than 180,000 residents.
When asked if God could be judging Hollywood, Graham commented, “I don't know, but I don't think so.” He emphasized the importance of knowing the Lord Jesus Christ and being prepared to stand before Him, stressing that assurance comes through confessing sins and believing in Jesus, who died for humanity's sins and rose again.

By burning Altadena?
Fiddle.
I know nothing about Altadena. Never heard of it until the wildfires.
Fickle Finger of Fate Hovers over:

That’s the ticket. Spare Fresno.
Let me be Frank....
If He was going to take it out on Hollywood there wouldn’t be a movie studio standing and LA would have a lot of pillars of salt. God gives lots of warnings before he goes to that kind of thing
This wasn’t God, it was the stupidity of CA politicians
All such speculation is dangerous.
Isaac Asimov wrote that pastors in early American churches used to say that the town’s houses and stores that fell to fires were because of the people’s sinning leading to punishment.
But because most churches were built on the highest hill in town and they always had a cross on the roof , many times made of metal, they frequently attracted lightning in thunderstorms and that caused the churches to burn down.
He said the pastors soon withdrew the sinning hypothesis.
Another I cannot verify but I am sure I read it. The young soldier Hitler was in a trench fighting for Austria when he suddenly had an impulse to crawl out of the trench and go into the no man’s land on the surface, with heavy live fire near him. A few seconds later one shell hit the trench and the men who had been near him were killed.
Good things happen to bad people.
Bad things happen to good people.
Lets not go there.
You rang?
God’s judgment on Hollywood and everyone else occurred 2000 years ago on the cross of Christ.
He’s scared to say it but Hell Yes!
Just stop.
Fires happen. Always have. God didn’t have anything to do with it.
Luke 13:
And there were present, at that very time, some that told him of the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And he answering, said to them: Think you that these Galileans were sinners above all the men of Galilee, because they suffered such things?
3 No, I say to you: but unless you shall do penance, you shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen upon whom the tower fell in Siloe, and slew them: think you, that they also were debtors above all the men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 No, I say to you; but except you do penance, you shall all likewise perish.
I can say this much about those fires. Those fires didn’t just happen. They definately had a creator.
It rains on the righteous and the unrighteousness.
Deeply hesitant to make such a pronouncement myself.
At this point in history, God does not have to do anything. He can rely on our feebleness and imbecility to bring about any judgement He might think is appropriate.
Great movie on just that theme (sort of).
