Holy Lord,
Surely You are good unto them that wait for You, to the souls that seek You. Your mercies are not consumed, because Your compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
Father, during these busy days before the celebration of our Lord and Savior’s birth, we ask You to help us take time to be still with You and listen to Your voice, for busyness is the enemy of intimacy with You. Help us Lord, to seek the needed things----the necessary time with You that will keep our hearts in harmony with Yours.
Gracious Lord, as we think about the Precious Christ Child, we ask You to please forgive our nation of the terrible sin of legalized abortion. We know that You hate the hands that shed innocent blood. We command the enemy’s stronghold upon our legal system to be broken and we ask that our new administration and legislators would be bold enough to defund the horrors of Planned Parenthood. We pray that You would allow the deception behind the abortion industry to be powerless, and we ask that the covenant of death our country has made would be broken.
Lord we pray for Your people to make haste to help the families in North Carolina, Tennessee, and other areas whose homes were destroyed and who continue to seek proper shelter and protection from the elements. Comfort and defend all who mourn their loved ones and who need the assistance of others to make it through these cold winter months.
We continue our plea for protection of any remaining hostages in the Middle East. Please show them a way of escape and enable our newly-elected President to arrange for their safe return.
Thank You for Your protection of President Trump and his family. May Your mighty angels be given charge over them to keep them in all their ways. Bless his outreach to the French people as he visits and celebrates the completed renovation of the Cathedral of Notre Dame.
Lord, the times in which we live cause us great concern. We are seeing more and more instances where evil is called good and good, evil. We realize that placing our hope in man or government is fruitless. Help us to hope in You alone, for only You can be called truly faithful. Lord, may Your peace be the stability of our times for only You are the same---yesterday, today, and forever. Yes, Lord, great is Your faithfulness. We thank You, Father, in the Precious Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
