DEAR ALMIGHTY AND AWESOME ETERNAL GOD, we can’t image or even fathom the mighty impact of SILENCE in heaven as the LAMB steps up and takes full authority over all things. No sounds of angels, no sounds of worship, no sounds of thunders and roarings. Just AWE and MAJESTY. This MIGHTY ACT, as it was in the beginning of creation before anything was ever created, existed in silence. And then GOD SPOKE, and everything began. For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (Coloss. 1:16-17)
FATHER, the volume of the earth in which the “world” and it’s minions are taking over, raging against GOD and HIS ANOINTED, are trying to even deafen the MIGHTY AND ETERNAL AWE INSPIRING SILENCE of YOUR POWER AND GLORY, how foolish and how devastating for them and all who follow the path of ungodliness. The LORD is in HIS HOLY TEMPLE; let all the earth be SILENT before HIM. (Habakkuk 2:20)
Hear, O peoples, all of you; listen, O earth, and everyone in it! May the Lord GOD bear witness against you, the Lord from His holy temple . . . Be silent before the LORD, all people, for He has roused Himself from His holy dwelling. (Micah 1:2; Zech. 2:13)
Dear LORD, we lift up our hands before YOUR THRONE OF GRACE and YOUR POWERFUL MERCY, as an act of REVERENT WORSHIP and SILENT PRAYER for our Nation, for our children, for the Peace of Jerusalem, for our brothers and sisters among the Nations, as we read together from Psalm 65:
O God in Zion, to You even silence is praise! You who answers prayer, all of humanity comes before you with their requests. Though we are overcome by our many sins, Your sacrifice covers over them all. How blessed is the one You choose to live near You in Your courts. The beauty of Your house, your Holy Temple, satisfies us. You answer our prayers with amazing wonders and with awe-inspiring displays of power. You are the Righteous God who helps us like a father.
Only -- for God, be silent, O my soul, For from Him is my hope. (Psalm 62:5) AMEN.
