AMERICA Prayer Vigil (Aug. 27, 2024) *Prayer*

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: That if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

1 John 5:20
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

Lord Jesus, we come to You astonished and saddened by the many lies that are being perpetrated in some of the highest corridors of power in the land, and it seems that no one can or will do anything to address what is effectively a clamp-down on truth.

Father, for too long we've allowed the evils that seem to be swamping our world in general and our country in particular to wash over us, but Lord there are so many evils that have ravaged our people, and goodness and truth seem to be a thing of the dim and distant past, especially the truth of Your Word.

Lord, forgive us for not opening our eyes earlier to what is going on, but we pray that You would use us now to lift up our brothers and sisters in prayer, who are being aggressively attacked, ridiculed and even persecuted for righteousness sake, for speaking the truth.

Look down in pity on Your children and on all who are being systematically targeted by a government that is causing increasing number of people to find themselves in severe hardships, having lost their homes and families, their livilhood and dignity.

Lord, we know that nothing is going to change the downward spiral that we are currently facing, but Lord, we pray that despite the disasters we face, that You will bring good out of evil. We ask Lord, that the lies that are being perpetrated in some of the highest corridors of power in the land will be the tool that will bring many people to salvation in Christ Jesus and bring them to trust in the eternal truth of Your Word. We know that until You come to set up Your millennial kingdom on earth, nothing will breach the tide of evil that is sweeping over our land. Have pity on us and our country and guide us into all truth we pray. In Jesus' name, amen.

Dear Holy Father God, today Your Free Republic intercessors come together to stand in the gap for America and the nations of the world, especially Your beloved nation of Israel. We confess all national sins of self-worship, pride, scoffing and mockery of You the one True Holy God, and idolatries that we pathetically attempt to place above You.

We confess our national sin of turning from Your Truth to follow demonic delusions that tickle our ears. Rebuke our corrupted media, politicians and institutional leaders feed us all the lies that the people want to hear. We confess we allowed ourselves to be diverted off Your straight and narrow path. Rather than trust in You, Holy Father, we foolishly trust in man's ideas and demonic false wisdoms. We see we are a world deceived by the most ridiculous, outlandish claims--that we can be our own gods where morality is subjective. Forgive us and have mercy, Holy Father.

We rebuke those, in the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ, who despise Your gifts of the Spirit, Holy Father. You warned us the world would call us fools, those of us who follow You. Instead of trusting in what's Good and True, we are groomed to trust instead in the yokes, whips and machinery of pathological, prideful liars who claim to know what's best. Manipulative psychopaths have placed the noose around our necks, yet without You we are blind to these plans to enslave us. They take the money You provide us to pay for those ropes. Oh Holy Father how we need YOUR TRUTH in this wretched world!

Abba Father, we cry out to You! No dystopian novel written by man can compare to the satanic insanity poured into this world by the prince of the air. Those blinded by hate tell us there is no absolute truth, that truth is relative--whatever we desire it to be. "Follow your heart," the liars proclaim. "My truth is not your truth!" is their mantra. "We're the ones we've been waiting for!" Fools all around tell us You don't exist! Apostate churches worship AI "Jesus" and sin, and make up their own false gospel. They shout that man evolved from apes, that You are a woman, family is prison, abortion is freedom, redefined marriage, homosexuality is normal, men can have babies, children can transform into the opposite sex, blah blah blah and other massive delusions. People literally get away with murder and worship death, and we are told all this is joy!

Oh Holy Father, You know our society is collapsing at break-neck speed as law, order and YOUR TRUTH are no longer valued. You see Your children speak Your Truth and are quickly cancelled. Those unstable houses built on sand are crumbling before our eyes!

Father God, You warned us that this would happen. It's obvious the end of time in this world is quickly approaching. Oh Holy Father, thank You for shining the Light of Your Truth brightly in the darkness of this dying world so all may refocus and trust in You alone! Holy Spirit, awaken the senses of those who need to see Your Truth and Love and receive the Good News of eternal Life through the Sacrifice of our Savior Jesus! Only then will the sheep who called upon You for deliverance will know True Joy. We look forward to the day when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! Amen.

Prayer For All Who Reject the Truth of God’s Word

Heavenly Father, we lift up all those who have rejected the truth of Your Word and are seeking after the humanistic ways of the world. Lord, we know that Satan is the father of lies and his great desire is to lead many away from the path of truth in Christ Jesus. We ask Lord, that You would thwart his malicious plans, and use the satanic agenda and the humanistic lies that are hurting so many people, to be the very instrument that will cause many to question the values that they have held dear, and to turn them from their worldly ways and seek the Lord Jesus while He may be found, for He is the One and Only Truth and He is the Way and the Life and the Light, and He is the only Hope for mankind.

Raise up we pray, an army of prayer warriors that will be prepared to seek Your face and to stand in the gap for those that have been swept into the lies of the humanistic agenda. May the truth of Your Word become a beacon of light to those that are in need of a Saviour, and we pray that the lies of the enemy will be exposed so that many that are heading for an eternity of separation from the Father, may be swept into the kingdom of His dear Son, to Your praise and glory.

Your Word is truth. May the truth of Your Word ring in the ears of all who are perishing and bring many perishing people to salvation. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

O God, in Zion;
