The Gateway Pundit reported that Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò was summoned to the Vatican to be excommunicated by Red Pope Francis.
Archbishop Carlo Viganò, a friend of the faithful and totally dedicated to the Church and sharing the word of Jesus Christ, was notified that he was being summoned to the Vatican.
Vigano has been outspoken against the destruction of the Church, COVID mandates, and stolen elections. He has called out the current Pope for his destructive actions against the Church. He has warned about the World Economic Forum. For this, there are reports that he is being excommunicated from the Holy Catholic Church.
Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano announced that he had not attended his Vatican ‘schism’ trial and he will not attend such a trial!
On Thursday the Vatican found Archbishop Vigano guilty of ‘schism’ and was excommunicated from the Church by Pope Francis.
Vigano is a staunch conservative Catholic and not a fan of the radical globalist Pope.
Via the National Catholic Reporter:
Italian Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, the disgraced former papal nuncio to the United States who questioned the legitimacy of Pope Francis and the authority of the Second Vatican Council, has been found guilty of schism and excommunicated, the Vatican announced on July 5.
“His public statements manifesting his refusal to recognize and submit to the Supreme Pontiff, his rejection of communion with the members of the Church subject to him, and of the legitimacy and magisterial authority of the Second Vatican Council are well known,” stated a Vatican bulletin that announced the ruling.
The decision of Viganò’s excommunication was widely expected following the announcement by the archbishop himself on June 20 that he had been charged with schism by the Dicastery for the Doctrine for the Faith and that he would not be cooperating with the Vatican penal process.
At the time, Viganò said he would not comply with the request to present himself in person to formally receive the accusation and evidence against him and said he considered the charges brought against him to be an “honor.”
The June 11 Vatican decree stated that if Viganò remained unresponsive through June 28, he would be sentenced in absentia, and the July 5 Vatican statement announcing the excommunication noted that the Congress of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith met on July 4 to conclude the penal process against Viganò.
The statement also noted that the archbishop was notified with news of his excommunication on July 5 and that the reversal of such a decision is reserved to the Apostolic See.
Good. Go nail some demands on the Vatican door and kill the Church. Their hierarchy is nothing but a pack of pervs that broke their oaths of celibacy to their Gawd. F% ‘em.
I imagine this must be heartbreaking for the Good Archbishop. Although he may disagree with the current occupant of the Vatican, I believe in my heart that he is a faithful follower of the religion he was raised, educated, and ordained in.
I also consider him my brother in Christ.
I am praying for him that he will not suffer in his emotional, mental, or spiritual health during these trying times.
Please, Dear Jesus, be with our brother and comfort him with Your Blessed Assurance.
In Jesus Name.
If I were him I’d be glad, not sad..................
“Pope” poofter has filled the Vatican with fellow travelers. He isn’t going anywhere.
The consensus I’ve been hearing from everyone I know in a Catholic institution is: “The entire Catholic Church is just waiting for this guy [Pope Brandon] to die.”
> “The entire Catholic Church is just waiting for this guy [Pope Brandon] to die.” <
As I noted earlier, the huge majority of the voting cardinals have been appointed by Francis. So unfortunately, it will probably be a case of “Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.”
But who knows? We might be pleasantly surprised.
Vigano wrote about this within the last few weeks. He seemed rather dismissive of the whole thing. He cited the Bishop Lefebvre fiasco to make his point. Lefebvre was excommunicated for “illegally” consecrating bishops in the 1980s. According to Vigano, the decision by the Vatican to lift the excommunication after Lefebvre’s death was a tacit admission that the original excommunication was never legitimate in the first place.
He didn’t leave the church, the church left him..........
Ah...thank you for that explanation. I am not Roman Catholic, so I was not following the story as closely.
I am happy that this good man is not “crushed” by the news.
I agree.
Now that Archbishop Vigano is no longer chained to Pope Frankie, he can let loose without fear of repercussions. One book will expose a tower of fraud and perversion.
Are there enough faithful cardinals to remove Frankie?
Hey, it’s Italy. Yes that Italy. ‘Nuff said.
I didn’t know you! could be excommunicated for political differences.
Ask DJT.
This protestant believes you are 100% correct. It is sad to see what the leadership of Pope Frank the Communist has done to the Catholic church. Vigano is clearly one of the good guys in this world.
As is true with normal Americans and the US government, the Vatican is at war with regular Catholics. You haven’t changed, they did.
And any brave man like Vigano who stands in objection to this anti-pope is attacked ruthlessly.
“If I’m not mistaken, there is no legal way to remove a pope.”
They did it to the last Pope somehow. The details are sketchy, but somehow Ratzinger was pushed aside.
Oh my, this Pope seems to forget, he too will have to answer for what he has done. God Bless Vigano.
Well, Ebby I’ll give you credit for posting the good news. You could have avoided it. Although, the original source would be preferred to your inflammatory and repeatedly discredited sources. He is the original source: https://www.vaticannews.va/en/vatican-city/news/2024-07/vigano-excommunicated-for-schism.html
I am sorry I’ve not been in communication lately. As you know, I have asked you, cajoled you, humored you but kindly asked you, for your own good, not post your anti-Catholic, anti-history, anti-spiritual, anti-theological, anti-pope diatribe. You, and all of FR, now see the results. The harm you and your friends’ cause is schismatic and now has led to an excommunication. Vigano is no Lefebre. He will not rejoin without repentance. His pride will not allow repentance. He is considered a heretic and/or possibly mentally deranged. Ever hear of Martin Luther? He is without support. Please don’t let it happen to you.
