Lord Jesus, we humble ourselves, quiet our souls, and come to you for wisdom and council for our wayward nation.

When we observe the news and the chaos we become discouraged and fearful.

Lord, help us to focus on you, and trust you even when things become more difficult.

Lord, you are our only hope.

We lift up to you President Trump.

I pray he will not become discouraged, deceived or compromised.

Send godly council his way, place your angels about his family.

Lord we ask for vindication the for J6 prisoners.

Lord we pray that the border conflict not become a trap for those who desire to protect our nation.

Lord protect Israel and the Jewish people from their enemies.

Lord Jesus we lift up your people in this country, that we would come together to honor you .

Lord may we throw away our idolatry and compromise and once again seek your face.

Psalm 10

Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

that you may take it into your hands;
the helpless commit themselves to you;
you have been the helper of the orphan.

15 Break the arm of the wicked and evildoers;
seek out their wickedness until you find none.
16 The Lord is king for ever and ever;
the nations shall perish from his land.

17 O Lord, you will hear the desire of the meek;
you will strengthen their heart, you will incline your ear
18 to do justice for the orphan and the oppressed,
so that those from earth may strike terror no more.
