USA A Polytheistic Empire – A New Experiment About to Fail?
PatriotandLiberty ^ | 12/23 | Larry Ball

Posted on 12/28/2023 1:38:14 AM PST by spirited irish

Christianity compromised God’s biblical antithesis in the name of national unity. If we were a Christian nation, we might have a hope for survival, even with variations in language and race. However, like those who sought a humanistic unity at the Tower of Babel, we are doing the same thing as they did, and we are seeing the judgment of God in our own day. With the passage of laws legalizing abortion and homosexual marriage, the American people have declared war against the God of the Bible. Judgment follows the rejection of blessing. We no longer live in a post-Christian age but rather in an Anti-Christian age.

There is a great divide in the United States over the Israel-Hamas war in the Middle East. Most Americans are surprised at the size of the pro-Palestinian sentiment as seen in large public demonstrations, and now resulting in actual physical violence. The Middle East has been literally imported to the United States, and madness is raising its ugly head. The reason for this division in the United States is that we no longer have a Christian consensus. We have shifted from a Christian Nation rooted in the truth of the Bible to a Polytheistic Empire rooted in Marxist ideology.

Excerpt:

America’s founding fathers consciously avoided creating a “Christian nation.” Thomas Jefferson, author of the declaration of Independence, authored in 1786 the “Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom,” which set strong precedent for the standing of religion in the new country. He wrote that during a debate to adopt the bill, “An amendment [which proposed to insert] the words, ‘Jesus Christ, the holy author of our religion,’ [was rejected] by a great majority, in proof that they meant to comprehend, within the mantle of its protection, the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and the Mohammedan, the Hindoo and the infidel [any non-Christian] of every denomination.”

We believe God is dead and are turning the country over to Mohammedans who are sworn to kill infidels.

“...we are seeing the judgment of God”

Sounds like blaspheme. Wonder if the author, “Larry Ball” says that about all misfortune and poverty. Yeah, ppl make bad decisions. Adhering to morality is a tried and true solution to most of life’s ills.

“An amendment [which proposed to insert] the words, ‘Jesus Christ, the holy author of our religion,’ [was rejected] by a great majority,...”

Matthew 10:33

But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

That’s the problem. It was there from the founding of the Republic. They prioritized Earthly ambition and political convenience and voted down something which almost all knew was true.

Flawed from the beginning.

We believe God is dead and are turning the country over to Mohammedans who are sworn to kill infidels.

We have already turned it over to Baphomet worshippers, goddess worshippers; Drag Queens, pantheist Green religionists, occult New Agers and much more.

While I am in agreement with the author's premise, that America has devolved into polytheism, I don't necessarily agree with all of his supporting arguments.

Furthermore, Jefferson, a deist, was a child of the secular Enlightenment whose utopian bent supported inclusion of Muslims and pantheists which was abhorrent to other Founders.

The link to the article you posted evidences Jefferson's errors in thinking would be cause for future confusion and destruction and are playing out in our land today.

The underlying flaws of this nation’s foundation that the author describes are really a function of Protestant ideology more than anything else. The U.S. could never have adopted a Christian identity even if its founders wanted it. Because the U.S. was established after the Reformation, it was impossible for the founders to even agree on what version of “Christianity” would serve as its cornerstone.

Agreed. But then Jefferson was a deist, a son of the secular Enlightenment whose rejection of miracles and his utopian bent that saw ‘happiness’ as a Constitutional right (who can guarantee happiness?) and inclusion of Islam and mystical pantheism would eventually unleash the confusion, mayhem, and destructive forces overwhelming our land today.

Well, I tend to disagree on that score. And I’m probably gonna get an F-4 Phantom strike but whatever.
Melting pot, Shining City upon a Hill.
As the old saying goes, different strokes for different folks.
Being a Buddhist myself, You might find some of my beliefs pretty funny. I still respect Your right to such an opinion , as per both 1st amendment. Now, it should follow that You respect my right to aforesaid beliefs.
I do admit that for some people, my belief system might look a bit confusing but as long as I don’t try to force it on them, they shouldn’t have too much of a problem with it.
As for the confusion,I personally blame the breakup of a family unit.

No. Experiments with anti-truth, anti-life, anti-freedom, anti-individual collectives are dangerous though.

I assume you are an American who has converted to Buddhism yet retains respect for our Constitution. The difference between your position and the position of practicing Muslims in general is vast.

For one thing they see women as chattel who can be beaten and even beheaded for the sake of a Muslim man's honor. As for infidel women, they are to be raped and even murdered as happens throughout Muslim dominated areas of W. Europe. And most Muslim men already here want Sharia to be enforced.

Hezbollah and Hamas are all of the above but on steroids. And we already know what they are capable of as demonstrated by their actions in Israel.

Now what about Muslims who escaped this horror by coming here to live peacefully and even converting to Christianity? What about them? They know that if Islam and Sharia gain traction and power that their own lives are most likely forfeit.

If Muslims are to be allowed entry they must be made to respect other people and women, and their religious beliefs. However, I fear it's already too late. They are here and they see a confused, dumbed-down, demoralized nation and many Americans who hate our land, view it as an evil land of oppressors, and side with Hamas. What this says to Muslims desiring a worldwide caliphate is that America is ripe for the picking.

>> America’s founding fathers consciously avoided creating a “Christian nation.”

I think you need to research more widely than what they say in “Hinduism Today”.

We most certainly ARE a Christian nation in covenant with Christ in the one true GOD — by our founders’ design. Beginning a hundred years before 1776.

With the decline of Christian followers in the US, we are already seeing the ugly side of Muslims influence in the country where they dominate certain areas such as Dearborn MI and they are embolden as we see the protests in various cities across our nation. It won’t be long before we will see the same violence increase here as it has in Europe and the Middle East.
The whole world is deteriorating rapidly as more people would rather accept and follow false gods than accept Jesus. We reap what we sow.

The founding fathers made the mistake of taking Christianity for granted as if it would continue to be the driving force of the society as a whole forever.

I personally believe that Our Country is on the verge of needing an old fashion Old Testament retribution and cleansing.

Again, different strokes for different folks.
I reckon TJ had an idea of People not encroaching on each other’s happiness,
I.e. mutual respect.
But then again, that’s just me and I’m not really versed in Jefferson’s personal history.
