Book of Zephaniah...for Such a Time as This!

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Agri-Business; End to Sex Slavery; Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

In Zephaniah 3, You related: “Her officials in the midst of her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones on the morrow, for nothing is left by morning. Her prophets are light [lacking truth, gravity, and steadiness] and men of treachery; her priests have profaned the sanctuary; [defrauding God and man by pretending their own word is God’s word] they have done violence to the law. The Lord in the midst of her is [uncompromisingly] righteous; He will not do iniquity. Every morning He brings His justice to light” To our natural eyes, this looks painfully familiar.
However, You go on to say, “ ;...Let her [reverently and worshipfully] fear Me, receive correction and instruction, and … (our) dwelling shall not be cut off… Therefore [earnestly] wait for Me, says the Lord, [waiting] for the day when I rise up to the attack [as a witness, accuser, or judge, and a testimony]. For My decision and determination and right it is to gather the nations (We say, “our wicked in charge”) together, to assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them My indignation, even all [the heat of] My fierce anger…For then [changing their impure language] I will give to the people a clear and pure speech from pure lips, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve Him with one unanimous consent and one united shoulder [bearing the yoke of the Lord].” This, our Mighty Deliverer, is what we seek.
We entrust President Trump and the J6 prisoners to Your righteous care. We anticipate rejoicing when right and truth prevail.
Father, there will be many openings for candidates in our upcoming elections. We ask You to call Your righteous servants even now to fill those openings. May Your strong hand of favor and provision be on them. Thank You for these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.

For America As A Nation Who Has Lost Its Way
Loving Lord, I come to You to place the once great nation of United States of America at Your feet, knowing that our great country and it’s constitution was made for a moral and religious people and is wholly inadequate for any other form of government, and yet we have strayed so far from the principles and practices of our great founders, who drew up our constitution based on Your Word.
But Lord, although this was once the land of the brave and the home of the free, sadly there is so much that is wrong with our country that I fear for its future. Lord, as a people we have walked away from You and discredited Your holy name by the way that we have conducted ourselves over the past few years and there is no health in our land.
Look down in pity on our people and our land, and protect us from those that seem determined on destroying our nation. Send Your Spirit I pray, through the land of America, and touch the hearts of all those that are called by Your name to plead on behalf our people. Convict those that are damaging our infrastructure and as a nation may we turn away from our wicked ways and return You to Your rightful position, in integrity and truth.
I ask this in Jesus’ name,

Amen to your prayers. Lord Jesus, we pray for a cleansing spirit to sweep over our nation. We pray that the intercessors rise up and pray like there is no tomorrow. In Jesus Name Amen
