The Persians weren’t bulldozed. The Romans weren’t bulldozed. They lived out the span of empire.
The US, on the other hand, is bulldozing itself by knee-jerk unquestioning support of the Israeli state. We think we can play god by keeping Israel afloat indefinitely.
Being the ‘chosen’ people doesn’t necessarily mean that only good things will come your way.
And as you have previously stated, all Jews must become Christians to be in Heaven!
Why? Easy. It is jus a place-keeper for the one that will be reconstituted when The Prince of Peace returns to Earth to emplace His (global) Kingdom of Righteousness and Peace.
Even at Jesus' time, it was not the Israel of the Tanakh of Hezekiah.

And ... all those that have falsely accused and persecuted Netanyahu, just like they have Trump, will pay dearly. I only wish we would be allowed to witness that “reckoning” and the divine justice that God will be handing out.
All I see is the never ending attacks on Israel by the Palestinians and other Muslim factions. I see no evidence of the Lord lending a helping hand.
I've witnessed the never ending attacks on western civilization by the agents of Islam, but yet to witness any of God's hand in their protection.
I believe in a God but I have no belief that "He or It" has any hand in what is going on in this world today.
I believe that a God created this world and universe, but that's it.......
