——>The new covenant is made with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah. It cannot be annulled.

Of course it can be annulled. It was dependent “upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity...”

IT WAS CONDITIONAL

The End Time Remnant in Revelation

Who is The Remnant Church of God?
https://www.remnant-church.org/

Who is the remnant church?
https://www.remnant-church.net/

To determine who is the remnant Church and whether it be one or more denominations, you will need to find a Church who have people displaying the following attributes. They must:

1: Be a minority, that is, a remnant.
2: Keep all the Ten Commandments of God including the fourth.
3: Be Apostolic in nature, similar teaching and belief of the apostles.
4: Arise after the 1260 years of Papal supremacy which is after 1798.
5: Arise in America, the earth that helped the woman. See verse by verse study on Revelation 12.
6: Have the testimony of Jesus Christ which is the Spirit of Prophecy or the Gift of Prophecy manifest through a prophet or prophets, Revelation 19:10; 22:9.
7: Be expecting the Second coming of Christ being the last.
8: Understand Bible prophecy and 666 and the Mark of the Beast issue.
9: Be filled with the Holy Spirit to boldly proclaim the gospel message.
10: Believe in the Bible as the only source of doctrine.
11: Believe in the once only atoning sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross.
12: Abstain from cigarettes, drugs or unhealthy eating that damages their bodies, which are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
13: Understand that the dead sleep until the resurrection to life or resurrection to damnation.
14: Know that hell-fire is an event and that the wicked do not get eternal life and do perish.
15: Believe in the young age of the earth, and that God created the world in six days.
16: Believe in Baptism by full immersion of people who have repented and made their own decision to follow Jesus and partake in it.
17: Believe in the sanctity of marriage.
18: Believe that Jesus is our only mediator and that only He can forgive sins.
19: Believe the truth on the Godhead. (Note: The word trinity is not found in the Bible and originated from Tertullian and was a doctrine that was established by the early Catholic Church in the council of Nicea in 325 AD.) See pagan origins of the trinity doctrine. Note that the Seventh Day Adventist Church was raised by God as non-Trinitarian. See how the trinity doctrine got into the Adventist Church.
20: Believe in being faithful stewards through tithing and offerings.
21: Be prepared to endure persecution for their faith.
22: Be a Church that Satan is making war with, that is, incur the wrath of the dragon, eg: Many websites & people attacking it with false rumours.
23: Be a world wide movement. The Gospel is to be preached in all the world, Matthew 24:14; Revelation 14:6-12, so it must be a world wide movement.

Serious question here, Philsworld.

Have you ever encountered the "Seventh-day Church of Revelation", and if so, what are your thoughts about them?

(They give a sort of overview of themselves here >>===> "Seventh-day Church of Revelation, Re-establishing Adventism".)

All these I have kept since my youth.

On hearing this, Jesus told him, “You still lack one thing:

I’ve never heard of them. But, after seeing the video, they appear to be an offshoot of the SDA church. There are a few of those out there. Looks like they briefly show their doctrinal similarities and differences. They seem sincere in their love for Christ and in following scripture.

What made me think of them was your comment in post #162, point #19, where you said the following.

"19: Believe the truth on the Godhead. See how the trinity doctrine got into the Adventist Church."

The belief of the "Seventh Day Church of Revelation" on that matter seems to match your own views on it.   (See links below for their interesting take on that.)

(They also have many other videos out there on youtube, where they emphasize their return to the beliefs of the Adventist pioneers.)

Up to 1890: Anti-Trinitarian Period

Until near the turn of the twentieth century, Seventh-day Adventist literature was almost unanimous in opposing the eternal deity of Jesus and the personhood of the Holy Spirit. During the earlier years some even held the view that Christ was a created being. Theological tension within Adventism began during the Millerite movement and is illustrated by the two principal leaders, William Miller and Joshua V. Himes.

Miller, being a Baptist, was a Trinitarian. He wrote, “I believe in one living and true God, and that there are three persons in the Godhead. . . . The three persons of the Triune God are connected.”

Himes, a close associate of William Miller, was of the Christian Connection persuasion. The northeastern branch of the Christian church almost unanimously rejected the Trinitarian doctrine as unscriptural. Himes wrote, “There is one living and true God, the Father almighty, who is unoriginated, independent and eternal . . . and that this God is one spiritual intelligence, one  infinite mind, ever the same, never varying.”

Millerite Adventists were focused on the soon coming of Jesus, however, and did not consider it important to argue on subjects such as the trinity

Those who truly knew the Messiah, knew Israel lives and will be redeemed. Others, on the other hand, do not understand but think they do. Just as for the First Advent, many of the generation did not understand the prophesies, so as we approach the Second Advent, many of the generation still do not understand, and that is according to the scriptures. Well after the stoning of Saint Stephen, the Apostle to the Gentiles wrote to the Gentiles in Romans 9:

[1] I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

Acts 1:
[1] The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
[2] Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
[3] To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
[4] And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
[5] For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
[6] When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
[7] And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
[8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 2:
[36] Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. [37] Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? [38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. [39] For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. [40] And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Zechariah 2:
[1] I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.
[2] Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.
[3] And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,
[4] And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:
[5] For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

[6] Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.
[7] Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.
[8] For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
[9] For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.
[10] Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. [11] And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
[12] And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.
[13] Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

It’s biblical. But, I guess you aren’t able to DISCERN it.

Unfortunately, you and Elsie are STILL unable to discern what the true Israel is. This commentary makes it very clear.

Romans 11:1 commentaries:

Coffman’s Commentaries on the Bible (not SDA)

Did God cast off his people … This question regards the true Israel, not the nation, which certainly had been cast off, there being then “no distinction” (Romans 9:12) in the sight of God between either Jews or Gentiles. Paul guarded against confusing the people here mentioned with external Israel by saying immediately that it was “the people whom he foreknew” (Romans 11:2) who were not cast off. Many make the mistake of supposing this to mean that God had not cast off the nation.

Elsie, William Miller was never an SDA, and most of the "Millerites" came from various Protestant denominations (like Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, etc.).   (Keep in mind that none of the Millerites in the 1840's were SDA's, as the SDA denomination didn't even exist until nearly twenty years after "The Great Disappointment" of 1844 of that Millerite movement.)   Furthermore, many of those Millerites never became SDA's, following that "Great Disappointment".   Also, many other new denominations were actually formed out of that Millerite group, not just the SDA's.

In our current time, the relatively new "Seventh Day Church of Revelation" (some of whose links about the Trinity I posted above) are just trying to return to the beliefs of the SDA pioneers, not the beliefs of all the other non-SDA Millerites, like Miller.

Thanks for the "Andrews University" link, but, to be honest, I really don't put a lot of stock in the credibility or reliability these days of the pronouncements or utterances of colleges and universities, about anything!      :-)

I believe those guys in the "SDCR" links I posted above do a good job of detailing the beliefs they are embracing, and documenting their sources for the information they provide about the actual SDA pioneers.   I was not trying to get into a big discussion about the Trinity, but just trying to post a few links from that new Sabbath-keeping Adventist group for my friend "Philsworld", to let him know that I believe their SDCR beliefs seem to match his own views on that one subject.
