(2 Peter 1:20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. (Isaiah 28:10) For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: (Isaiah 28:13) But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

All your rationalization, twisted *logic*, and wishful thinking did not produce ONE verse of Scripture to support the perpetual virginity of Mary.

You know MM, maybe there was some Biblical reason for it. I think it came from the 1st Holy Spirit inspired letter of Enmerkar, to the people of Eridu. Rumor has it, those people had some difficulty understanding different languages, especially when building that thing, that was sometimes called, the gateway to the gods. I often wonder why they used brick, instead of stone? 😁😂😊😊

John was agreeing to take the responsibility of Mary as his mother under the law.

It is a testimony to the love of Christ, but also fulfilling the Law to honor His parents by providing for Mary.

—> Youre the bible alone people...
You have the burden to follow ONLY what is in scripture.

I’m astounded that after having Sola Scriptura explained repeatedly, you still don’t get it.

God told Joseph to not fear to take Mary AS HIS WIFE.

He clearly knew the prophecies about the Messiah being virgin born. After Mary gave birth there was NO reason whatsoever, that she need remain a virgin. Since God commanded him to take her AS HIS WIFE, that entails all that a marriage is about.

Nether did God command Joseph to NOT have sex with Mary.

Seventh Day Adventists are Protestants too. They also publicly proclaim Sola Scriptura and are vehemently antiCatholic. How is the pedigree of their faith communities represented here any different in pedigree, authority, or virtue than those represented by the antiCatholics here ?

And if there were other scripture verses that I could show you to refute that claim in that they are NOT blood bros of Jesus...

But you can't because the Greek and other supporting Scripture don't state it.

Like worshipping a Sunday Sabbath. We can do so. You must violate scripture to do so.

Deflection tactic duly noted and ignored.

Again.

Not taking the bait.

...while we can make up all the stuff we want under the mantle of it could have happened.

(Even though there is no scripture verse that says scripture is the sole rule of Faith).

There is not a single FR Catholic that can produce ANYTHING like all of the "it is written" scriptures to try to justify TRADITION.

Anti-Catholic?? I count at least eight threads directed against the current pope by a person who identifies as Roman Catholic…and that’s a quick scan. I haven’t counted the number posted on a daily basis.

And you say Protestants are anti-Roman Catholic??? You might want to check your own denomination first.

Thank you for sharing your opinion.

I disagree that they are Christian believers.

I disagree that they are Christian believers.

Based on what evidence or authority ? They are essentially separated Protestant Baptists.

The Seventh-day Adventist church traces its roots to American preacher William Miller (1782–1849), a Baptist who predicted the Second Coming would occur between March 21, 1843, and March 21, 1844. Because he and his followers proclaimed Christ’s imminent advent, they were known as “Adventists.”

.

.

By virtue of their valid baptism, and their belief in Christ’s divinity and in the doctrine of the Trinity, Seventh-day Adventists are Christians. But Christians, once separated from the Church our Lord founded, are susceptible to being “tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine” (Eph. 4:14).

What public sin did the Apostle Paul commit after he became an apostle ?

Don’t know but he admits to being a sinner. And one who was sleeved by faith in Christ and only Christ. No appeal to Mary or anyone else.

How can it be "bait"... if you have air tight, locked down
sola scriptura, bible alone , bible only,
perspicuous scriptural verse(s)for an answer...
- on where in scripture the seventh day sabbath was abolished?

Who would be so foolish as to try to "bait" against something like that?
