I know, I know but the article is just so awesome. So sarcastic and full of brutal frank truth. She really nails the protestants and tears them to shreds. I have never read anything like it. I will enjoy quoting her here too as I respond.
She is brutal to Sunday keeping Protestants who think Sunday keeping is in the Bible. Wow!
No Catholic is in any position to condemn others for what they themselves have done and still do, although that never stopped them before from trying.
So you’re delighting in sowing discord between denominations?
How *Christian* of you.
It’s so funny when superstitious people argue over the details.
Wow!

You Got us Bible thumpers Now!

Is This Your Vanity,
Showing?
It’s the first time I’ve ever heard of Catholics not viewing Sunday as the day of rest, as well as the weekly celebration of Jesus’ resurrection. Are they observing the Jewish Sabbath then, including the end of a day as being at sundown? None of my Catholic relatives, including my former-Catholic father, ever mentioned Saturday as their day of rest.
So saying, "But, wait a second. Nowhere in the NT does it say that worship or Sabbath should be on Sunday instead of Saturday. Therefore it should still be done on Saturday" ... would be about as ridiculous as if someone said, "But, the NT doesn't remove the OT law that says menstruating women can't touch anyone or anything for 7 days, and if someone touches something she touches, he must exclude himself from everybody else until the evening." (Leviticus 15:19-23)
Where does it end? Are we to do that with all OT doctrine that's not specifically abrogated by NT doctrine?
