of the Copyright Law) Hundreds of devout Jews, including Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Aryeh King, stage a protest at the near the Western Wall in Jerusalem over what they are describing as Christian worship at the holy site.
The protest at the Davidson Center coincides with the final day of a 21-day period of prayers and fasting by Christians “for the increase of God’s salvation promises and plans for Jerusalem and Israel,” as organizers of those activities describe it.

Nonsense
Jews have always disliked Christians.
Spectacles, Testicles,Vatch, and Vallet.
.
Gunboat diplomacy. Same as way back.
Are the Mormons doing the wrong thing spreading their gospel?
Mormons or jehovas? They come to my door I politely say no thanks. Sometimes I take their pamphlets and file them later in the round file
I was at the Western Wall in 2020. As a Christian-American, the tourists who were there embarrassed me. They were in a festive mood, being irreverent and taking selfies, acting like they were in Disneyland. I placed my hand on the Wall, prayed for forgiveness, and left. I wondered how long their behavior would be tolerated, thinking it would just be a matter of time before some a-hole showed up with a can of spray paint to tag it.
Good job, on all accounts
Though a shredder would be even better for the material
I’ve don’t encounter many these days but the ones I’ve met, yes they were polite.
Thanks for taking the pamphlet, when they run out they go home.
well 2000 years of vicious jew-hatred from the European Christians summed up with the summary-slaughter of all of European Jewry in WW2 is a pretty good reason to dislike someone.
And sadly, yes, the church, especially the catholic church are fully responsible for it. Yes, Christian Europe either actively took part in the slaughter or turned a blind eye to it.
And the non-European Christian world (US/Australia/Canada etc...) pretty much locked their doors to anyone who may have been able to escape the inferno
i have to go now and find a Christian boys blood so I can have my passover matzah for next year........
"Missionaries of any persuasion are a public nuisance, but after Jews make a show of praying at Al Aqsa, how can they complain about an ecumenical Kotel? Besides, every visiting dignitary has to stop there for a photo op, praying for world peace. This is hilarious."
"Evangelical" has become a broad term, as even atheists and Satanists are busy on US campuses "evangelizing." There are precious few religious entities which do not, in some way, evangelize. But more broadly, politics and the so-called culture wars are become quasi-religions, evangelical in the excess. So the comment on the Times of Israel site has a point.
I have been fortunate enough to have worked in Israel, and even stood in the Al Aqsa mosque as well as the various Jewish and Christian sites one may visit. This accelerating "evangelical craze" -- including the "evangelical" tawhid of the Muslims -- is itself as a phenomenon the burning fuse of this world. Huntington's "Clash of Civilizations" thesis is one way to see this.
Most people in the world are blind to what is coming - hence my posts
Regarding this:
Romans 11:28-29
King James Version
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

I like ‘em just fine. Except for that chicken soup fella. Forget that guy!
Seriously, I can’t speak for “Jews”, but I worked as a tour guide when young mainly for Evangelicals. They were lovely people. Polite and clearly love the G-d of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Shared my political and moral beliefs. I have more in common with them than some Reform JINO in NYC.
Jerusalem is very crowded. There are some Hasidic groups that are complete assholes and cause trouble for everyone. Anti-Zionist, generally, too. I don’t know who was protesting, but it’s usually one of them.
And, to be fair, we do have a problem with weird cults and missionaries in Israel. So much so, there are laws restricting activities of everyone. Mainly fringe groups, but then groups that pretend to be Jewish and push something else.
> Jews have always disliked Christians. <
And Christians have always disliked Jews.
And Hindus have always disliked Buddhists.
Etc.
Not talking about all in each group, but many. Same as it ever was.
Everybody hates the Jews.
WE DON’T WANT THE IRISH!!
(probably some Irish ancestry here, along with German and definitely some American Indian)
Our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country on the face of the Earth.... (old movie line as a joke)
The Jews are doing exactly what G-d commanded them at Sinai. Leave them alone and let them do it!
“We’re the underdog. We’re mutts! Here’s proof: his nose is cold!”
A liberal to be sure, but still funny.
That’s the fact, Jack!
Blown up, sir!!
It’s like Wisconsin. We zip in, we zip out.
