We are in the midst of transitioning from an objectively true, historically consistent, analogue world and into a world that is subjectively purposed, revolutionary, and digital in construct. In fact, more so than ever before, we are in a period of time where the “what is” is being demonized and the wizard’s trick of “what it should be” is being lauded as a preferred pathway to the real.
A hyperreal world of dreams, visions, technology and digital realization is in many ways attempting to take the place of what mankind has always called “reality.”

I agree. The marriage of real information, paper files, receipts and hard copy printage, to the ever-increasing, easy to mess with galactic byte bucket, is both bane and boom.
It’s happening so fast. IF they can harness fusion to produce energy, then it’s over. Not saying that in a bad sense.
Energy through fusion would change the world overnight.

Fusion energy is one of those things that always seems to be 20 years away. The real revolution in production will occur when automation makes it possible for machines to make themselves. At that point the entire solar system becomes ripe fruit ready to pick. If not for idiot Democrat’s holding Civilization down we’d already be there.
For any of this to happen, the politics must be right.
Irenaeus did battle against those who wanted to change the Deposit of Faith that the Apostles established, and the Gnostics, just like many today, wanted to make things up as they went along, trying to establish an alternative reality, one rooted in nothing but thin air. Some things never change.
