It really is alarming as a person’s attitude towards the Bible is pretty much a reflection of their attitude towards God.

It is after all, His very own words to us, His special revelation to us so that we can know Him and His mind better.

People reject Scripture at their own risk.

People reject Scripture at their own risk.

Not just at their own risk. When people hear "at their own risk" they might think, "You mean it might cost me some money?" or "It might be painful, physically or socially?"

They don't realize that this is about eternity.

ETERNITY! FOREVER! HELL!

yup!

1 John 5:13 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

These things I write to you, that you may know that you have eternal life, you who believe in the name of the Son of God.

Like many people we know, who believe this and that of the Bible, but not the “harsh” treatment homosexuals get because God is love right?

I know more than a few people who think this way.

As you say:

“People reject Scripture at their own risk”.

I personally believe such people who cherry pick these verses are damned since they actually wink and nod at sodomy.
