Dan Davidson, whose venue ‘The Temple House’ has hosted a homoerotic, simulated orgy, confirmed to LifeSiteNews that he is preparing to buy St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Chicago, and inspections have begun.

CHICAGO (LifeSiteNews) — The owner of a luxury event venue that has regularly hosted lewd performances, including a simulated homoerotic orgy and obscene, perverse music videos, is preparing to close on the purchase of the beloved, historic St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Chicago.

Dan Davidson, who specializes in digital image projection for entertainment venues, told LifeSiteNews on January 17 regarding St. Adalbert’s, “I can confirm that engineers have just recently been engaged to begin the inspection of the property,” adding that it is “one of many steps … to determine if this is the right fit for us and the community.”

About a week before, he confirmed to LifeSiteNews that he intended to purchase the church after it was made public that his ANEW LLC had a letter of intent (LOI) to acquire St. Adalbert’s.

It has recently been discovered that in addition to hosting essentially pornographic music video filming — now standard for many celebrities — Davidson’s Miami-based flagship venue, (Warning: graphic content) The Temple House, was the site of a filmed simulated homoerotic orgy.

Perhaps the most outrageous event held at the Temple House, the 2020 “Love Different” “orgy” performance, which featured pop star Madonna’s daughter Lourdes, has been (WARNING: Graphic Images) reported on by the UK’s Daily Mail, as well as (WARNING: Graphic Video) publicized by Davidson. Lourdes and several other couples engaged in homoerotic kissing during the performance, as they proceeded to undress each other until they were nearly naked: the women wore only thongs, with their breasts exposed.

The culmination of the “performance” was too indecent to describe or depict.......

I can’t understand how the Archdiocese would sell it to him. Better it should be razed.

“a homoerotic, simulated orgy”

It’s certain that many on FR would just rather spank their own monkey than participate in such a thing.

Sidebar Note: Lordes; daughter of Madonna is mentioned in this article as one of the performers at a lewd and crude event back in 2020.

I don’t know what’s in Lorde’s head or in her heart, but just about every time I see a photo of her, she looks desperately sad and gloomy. This might just be an act, maybe ‘her Brand’ requires her to wear that expression to maintain her facebook followers, the way teens used to sulk and wear black during the Goth era.

I don’t know if she likes living in her mother’s famous-though-Skanky shadow or if she lacks the confidence to break away and do something other than Porn-Fashions. The only time I still see her with a natural looking smile is when she takes pictures with
Rocco Ritchie, her brother and Madonna’s only birth Son.
Rocco may be able to remind Lorde’s what ‘normal’ can look and sound like.

For someone who has walked this neighborhood, St Procopius Catholic Church is a few blocks away and is attended well by whomever remains with good soul is still left in the neighborhood.

Most of this church is a brick box only the Brick Masons union could love in 1953. If there is a god, and he has a sense of humor, the smiting from the heavens will be entertaining. A church has nothing to do with buildings, it has everything with the people who fill the pews (or folding chairs) .

Per the OP article, a letter of intent to purchase was accepted by the diocese. In homeowner terms, this is equivalent to a homeowner accepting an offer on their home and signing acceptance of an offer. This is entering into a contract.

No matter what a lawyer, financial person or real estate broker tells a person, a selling party is not obligated to accept an offer.<0> Example…. Many moons ago, I had my residence for sale in Virginia. I received an offer that was 100% of the asking $$$. The real estate broker said I was obligated to accept the offer. The devil is in the details.

The standard State offer contract had an addendum that listed a number of certifications related to the residence and property. The buyer couple were both lawyers. I didn’t trust the buyers, could see a setup via loopholes by which they could later sue me for something even though I couldn’t see what the grounds could be.

So…. I told the real estate agent to ignore the offer, keep the house on the market. But Mr. Hootowl, you’re obligated to counter offer, from the agent. Told the agent to ignore the offer, no counter offers would be coming from me or any offer accepted from the lawyer couple. Ticked off agent but oh well.

The Diocese was not obligated, I don’t believe, to accept an offer from this crude buyer for any reason or no reason. Just-Say-No. They went into this sale realistically knowing what buyer’s plans likely were. Shame on the diocese.

Opinions only…

Out of curiosity, I looked into it and I *think* right of first offer can be requested if the potential buyer has a vital interest in the property. For example, if I rent a building for a business and the owner decides to sell, he can give me the right of first offer so I can continue my business there. He doesn’t have to accept my offer.

I don’t know how this would apply to a house. I sold my father’s house after he died six years ago. I live 300 miles away so it took me a year of visits every couple of months to go through all the stuff and get the house ready to sell. The house sat empty for a year and, it being in a small town, word got around that it was available and I had a number of people contact me about it. On the first day it was officially on the market, I got an offer for exactly what I was asking and I took it. But my realtor didn’t say I had to sell it to him.

I can’t see that the Archdiocese had to sell it to this guy. I see some community members and former parishioners are protesting. I hate to see any house of worship repurposed for any secular use, let alone for something like this.

Thanks…. You have information that goes farther than my experience does.

Cheers…
