Another year has come to a close and here we are . . . a nation moving full steam ahead down the path of total self-destruction. We find churches and church leadership going the way of the secular world. The news of the day is strikingly morbid . . . Help us as Bible believing Christians to spread the real news . . .the Good News. . .the Gospel of Jesus Christ. . .that new beginnings can be a reality in a new year.

Jeremiah 29:11-For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Lamentations 3:22-24 - Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him.

1 Peter 5:7 - Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

Hebrews 13:6 - So we say with confidence, The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
Psalm 40:3 - He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in Him.
Father God, help us hide these Words in our hearts so that we will be stronger Christians in this new year. Help us witness with boldness about the Saving Grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let us not be weary as we take Your Message to the World. Help us overcome those obstacles that are keeping our country from its Divine purpose. To You be all Honor and Glory. In Jesus Name, Amen

What a rich environment you have given us to spread the message of your salvation in this country as people become discouraged and disappointed... Help us to remember our mission to them and that your Holy Spirit will prepare hearts who will be receptive to that message....may we be the instruments of your peace that passes all understanding to them.
