For some reason I found a whole bunch of weird Christian School stories tonight.

There is a pic on the link of her homework assignment.

I wonder how many parents actually did this?

This academy is CINO: Christian in name only.

The teacher alone would not have the authority to kick the girl out.

The administration should have been informed and the teacher put on probation by the administration.

It's called grooming and it's a sign of severe mental illness.

...and yes, how many parents are too clueless to recognize grooming when they see it?

Sounds like the school was angry because of the publicity… and perhaps (a guess) for the manner in which she expressed her concerns. But… regardless, I’m in full support of the mother!

Brandon would be checking out that school’s facebook page...along with every other pedophile in the world.

Which teacher was needing to get off on watching a young girl taking a bath? At one time people like this were locked up. But now they make teachers, presidents, Senators, Governors, and Representatives out of them. I feel sorry for the young people growing up now. The people that are supposed to protect them are the ones that are preying on them.

Anytime anyone in education says “You’re the only one who complained” they’re LYING. It’s time to organize with the other parents.

And what’s worse, the article was written by an atheist magazine! So they’ve taken a bad Christian story and ran with it.

The parents did the right thing by trying to confront the school, but the school sure handled it poorly. The teacher and administrators need to be fired for suggesting such a creepy assignment.

Can’t she sit in an empty tub clothed?

I need to know a lot more about this. Could it have been something that supposed to be cute? We have a kids book called “Dinner in the bathtub” or something like that. It’s about a family that does all the regular daily things in weird ways. On the title scene, the whole family is eating a full course dinner in tub. It’s a cute story and not remotely suggestive.

Reading in the bathtub? With plastic books? Who reads in the bathtub? Or am I the only one who drops things?

Maybe the parents should have just sent in a video of CNN employee Jeffrey Toobin masturbating in a Zoom meeting.

Steer into the skid. Show them how they appear to the rest of the world.

This school's homework assignments require parent signoff, and in some cases, parent participation.

I think people are falling for the anti-Christian bait. This is nothing like the secret grooming and abuse we see so much of in government schools. The state media is trying to convert a government scandal into a religious scandal.

The family may have been expelled for making a public spectacle out of an innocent but poorly thought out assignment.

second grader was kicked out of Victory Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Florida after her parents refused to participate in an assignment that involved taking a picture of their child “doing reading homework in bathtub.”

Solution: Demand that the teacher post a selfie of herself taking a dump.

I’d say you did...Interesting publication too.

Interesting when my kids were in school, there was a real push to keep kids’ photos private...School had to get permission from parents, etc...

Correct me if I’m wrong, but in the past decade or two haven’t parents been accused of having child porn if they have ANY pictures of their young ones unclothed or half clothed?

This exercise should be illegal. The school knows it. The school is just trying to make this go away.

How appalling that a ‘Christian’ school would have this exercise in their curriculum.
