The key is to be haughty without appearing so and to subvert the ancient monotheistic faith by squeezing selected passages through your New Testament filter. Remember that the heathen Jew is in error, but make sure not to burn him at the stake just yet. His time will come! Now is your time, not to commence the Inquisition, but simply to prove yourself a low-grade irritant.
You should find it easy not to second-guess your own Faith (the one supreme, unerring faith: yours, naturally,) as you will find the wandering Jew does not evangelize.

Roman War Criminal and those he follows cares so very much that we follow the profound illogic of their beliefs that they turn on a dime and wind up killing the Jews with their great “kindnesses” and “concern” in every generation. Those are the facts. I, too, will address Christian friends who put on some external trappings of Jews: Follow to your hear’s content your belief that God birthed a son and deposted him on planet earth. We will fight for your right to believe that. But, don’t insist we believe what you believe. Instread, have the decency to improve yourselves. Have the decency to drop your infernal fixation on the Jewish people. You have your religion. There are similarities and differences between yours and ours. Stop distorting ours in your minds. Our religion was given to us, the Jewish people, at Sinai - both the written and the oral teachings. It is our life and the length of our days. You own Torah and Old Testament has some very very tough verses that causes unbelieving Jews so much heartburn, that they refuse to even read or acknowledge them - both Rabbi’s and Synagogues:
Isaiah 53 (all of it) - massive heartburn
Hosea 5:15 (future - a lot of burn there)
Zechariah 12:10 (future also - tons of heart burn)
Psalm 110:1 (The Lord says to My Lord) - Two Lords!? Oy vey!
But before all of that, Ezekiel 38 & 39 must happen.

The Jewish version of Messiah differs considerably from the Christian version. Even non-Jews have been declared Messiah from the virtuous things they did for Jews and/or Israel.
Persian ruler Cyrus the Great’s capture of the city of Babylon in 539 B.C was followed a year later by the end of the Babylonian exile, leading to the return of exiled Jews to their homeland, the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem, and even the collecting together of ancestral texts into the Torah—the first five books of the Bible.
It was great enough that in Isaiah 45:1, Cyrus was declared as “the anointed”, which is a meaning of the word Messiah.

Honest question here. Why the objection on the part of Jews that God has a son that he birthed? Even Isaiah referred to it, saying His name is “Immanuel” which is “God with is”. Why is it so apparently implausible that God would do that?
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

You do realize, don’t you, that Christians recognize Jesus as being Jewish, don’t you? And that its His fulfillment of Jewish prophecy, especially Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53, that give the claims of Jesus credibility.
Christianity is not trying to co-opt Judaism. Jewish religion and prophecy and its fulfillment and all the people in the gospel account were of Jewish descent. Christianity is steeped in Judaism.
Those who have called themselves Christians and persecuted the Jewish people were liars and frauds, but sadly, their claims of being Christian despite not living it, were taken at face value and smeared the name of Christ and Christianity.
Satan’s best workers are those who name the name of Christ and are not His. They do more damage to the church than anything else could have done.
So, another question then…..
Just who do the Jews think the Messiah is going to be and what do they think his lineage is going to be? How do you expect to recognize him when he comes on the scene?
I never thought of that before and would honestly be interested in knowing.
