Gorgeous!
Maranatha!
It’s even much worse than you present in your link. The PTR ruse was created by the very Little Horn/Antichrist power that these Christians warn against. They are being led to the slaughter and don’t even realize it. Satan has them hopelessly fooled. The PTR theory is straight from Satan’s mind and will cause most Christians, who are alive at the end of the world, to lose their salvation. They totally discount the Antichrist and Mark of the Beast, because of their claim that they won’t be on the earth to be affected by them. They are also WRONG on their interpretation of Daniel’s 70 weeks and anything that has to do with a prophetic end-time Jewish nation of believers that convert to Christianity, 7 years, etc... It is ALL contrived and deflected by the Jesuits/Catholic church in their crafted theory (theories) of Futurism and Preterism. They invented them. It’s historical fact that the PTR believers refuse to acknowledge.
The book of Daniel says that the Little Horn power comes out of Pagan ROME and then lasts until the end of the world, which is something else that the PTR believers also refuse to acknowledge.

The notion that God makes multiple trips back to Earth in double second comings is laughably unbiblical. IâÂÂve always been very annoyed by Rapture freaks. Its all they talk about while constantly looking for signs of the date. Annoying .
So, double second comings. Blatantly unbiblical and a blatant mis understanding of scripture. Revelation and itâÂÂs events described things that had already happened. The modern version of Revelation interpretation has only been around a couple hundred years. ItâÂÂs one of the most ridiculous things. Its to say God is indecisive and is involved in overly complex timelines that make no spiritual sense whatsoever, that God is flaky. ThereâÂÂs a reason that book is so far removed from anything else in the Bible. Its symbolic. Allegory. And itâÂÂs just as beautiful and relevant that way as any other. Those letters never would have been allowed to leave Patmos if John didnâÂÂt appear as a crazy person. To take the book as literal yet at the same time symbolic is heresy. You canâÂÂt pick and choose whatâÂÂs symbolic and literal at a whim. Lots of sources that explain Revelation everywhere. But I assume folks are more thrilled with the blood red oceans and moons falling from sky during dragons biting heads off story line.
God doesnâÂÂt write horror novels to scare his people.
Your keyboard appears to be possessed
Your response being unnecessarily nasty, combative, somewhat incoherent, and unsupported with scripture, I’ll take a hopefully not unwise chance and ask you one question.
How do you reconcile:
“For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Matt. 24:27.
with
“[Y]ou do not know what hour your Lord comes. But...if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.” Matt. 24:42-43.
?
In verse 27 he comes as lightning who everyone sees coming from one end of the earth to the other and in verse 43 he comes as a “thief”, with stealth, who no one sees coming.
Ironic you feel the need to even comment on this noob.

All you need to know.
Rapture is an English word transliterated from the Latin vulgate. So if you read the Bible in latin...
The rapture of the Church is a bad joke. Designed to remove money from gullible people.

The word rapture is in the Bible, but it is not in the verses referring to the catching away of believers to be with the Lord, to my knowledge. It is used to describe those verses, by modern day preachers.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 VUL — deinde nos qui vivimus qui relinquimur simul rapiemur cum illis in nubibus obviam Domino in aera et sic semper cum Domino erimus
A phony word (and event) that does not even appear in the actual Holy Bible.
Stay ignorant then..
Why do we have to be ‘born again’? I was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith. Isn’t that enough?
Because if you’re not Born Again, you’re headed to hell.
Baptism doesn’t do anything for anybody - these days it’s nothing more than a ceremony. It’s also considered a work.
If you read Romans 10:9-13, it details exactly what a person must do/believe to be “born again” and be saved.
What does it mean to be a born again Christian?

“Baptism doesn’t do anything for anybody”
Here’s what the Bible says baptism DOES:
Cleanses you from iniquity, gives you a heart of flesh rather that of stone. Ezekiel 36:25-33
Makes you a disciple of Jesus. Matthew 28:19
Gives you the Holy Spirit. John 3:5, Acts 2:38.
Forgives your sins. Acts 2:38
Joins you with the death and resurrection of Jesus. Romans 6:2-5, Colossians 2:12.
Washes the Church and makes her holy. Ephesians 5:25-26
Clothes you in Christ. Galatians 3:27.
Regenerates you. Titus 3:5.
Saves you. 1 Peter 3:21
“It’s also considered a work.”
Indeed, but it’s God’s work, not ours. No human can do the things on the list of what Baptism does.
John 3:3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
I have a hard time wrapping my head around someone identifying as a Christian with no knowledge of one of the most fundamental aspects of the Christian faith.
Even Catholics should crack a bible open occasionally.
