José Antonio Ureta, a member of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) published on OnePeterFive.com (August 12) a 16-pages study on “theological deviations” in Desiderio Desideravi, Francis' attack against the Mass (below).
In DD, Francis refers the Eucharist to the Last Supper, rather than to Christ's sacrifice on Calvary. DD 4 even claims that the “same Supper will be made present in the celebration of the Eucharist until he returns again.” Ureta notices that this is warmed-over Protestantism.
Francis then alleges that "every man and woman" should eat the Eucharist suggesting a theological indifference which fits with his supporting the idea that "any and all" Christians [except Catholics] — believing or not, in a state of grace or not, having gone to confession or not — should pick up the Eucharist.
Moreover, Francis rejects the priest's role as the one who offers the sacrifice but reduces him to a “presider” while the attendees become vice-presidents.
Ureta concludes that the Church's liturgy and the liturgy of Francis are "two very different ritual forms" that do not correspond to the same Faith but are "incompatible" with each other and "correspond to two incompatible dogmatic stances.”

I’m a Protestant, but I think it is outrageous that the so-called Pope “agrees with me”. He ought to follow the teachings of his church. Be a Catholic. It’s part of your job description.
This phony should avoid playing golf in thunderstorms.
I always thought communion represented the last supper.
For Catholics the Last Supper was an anticipated participation of the new paschal sacrifice on the cross and the Mass is a re-presentation and participation of that one sacrifice
Don’t worry so much if the pope is Catholic or Protestant. It would be a blessing if he was at least a Christian.
News Flash!
It’s not news. Bergoglio has long been a protestant; he hates the Catholic Church.
Just some speculation...
If someone wanted to get theological liberals outside of the RCC to flock to the Roman system — well “a” Roman system ... can’t be actually RCC on a number of social issues and attract many liberals to it — then a tactical move like appearing to “agree” on this one issue may be an attempt to pour oil on proverbial choppy waters.
Don’t think he’s actually agreeing with you or I for this one cause ... there are a lot of other threads hereabouts that show how he doesn’t for those other reasons.
Me too. I’m not sure what the problem is here.
Catholic Encyclopedia -
“Since the Mass is nothing else than a continual repetition, commanded by Christ Himself, of the Sacrifice accomplished at the Last Supper, it follows that the Sacrifice of the Mass partakes of the New testament fulfilment of the prophecy of Melchisedech.” https://www.catholic.org/encyclopedia/view.php?id=4396
Catechism -”1323 “At the Last Supper, on the night he was betrayed, our Savior instituted the Eucharistic sacrifice of his Body and Blood. This he did in order to perpetuate the sacrifice of the cross throughout the ages until he should come again, and so to entrust to his beloved Spouse, the Church, a memorial of his death and resurrection: a sacrament of love, a sign of unity, a bond of charity, a Paschal banquet ‘in which Christ is consumed, the mind is filled with grace, and a pledge of future glory is given to us.’”133 https://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/__P3W.HTM
Protestant…hates the “Catholic Church”
So, (theoretically)
Could the pope participate in a “Catholic caucus“ thread?
If so, why can’t I?
If not, is the pope “not a Catholic in good standing“?
What you have is called “cognitive dissonance“
What is you have is the same hatred Bergoglio has: hatred of the Catholic Church.
Couldn’t agree more— except I don’t know how much your pope hates your “church” - or if he does at all!
If he thinks “the liturgy of the Eucharist“ is a remembrance, he can’t be all bad! I know you don’t like him - And maybe you have a good cause since your pope is a Marxist.
And once again, you dodged the question. I wonder what it’s like to be around you in person. I’m thinking we’ll never meet but there is still time for you – I know you’re pretty old!
Have a nice day, altar boy.
Maybe you ARE the pope!
Deception runs deep over there, doesn’t it?
You certainly think about the Catholic Church a lot.
I’ll bet you start an average of 10 or 15 Catholic threads every day.
You, and a couple of other wackos.
Is the pope a Catholic in good standing or not?
AMEN, Brother!
Maybe you're not the pesky nut you appear to be.
Only wackos post to themselves.
Thanks for proving you’re one of them, Regis.
Carry on, wayward soul!!
