Biden Signs Abortion Executive Order: 'Right to Choose' is 'Essential'

Washington D.C., Jul 8, 2022 / 12:53 pm President Joe Biden signed an executive order Friday aimed at protecting abortion access in response to the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

“This is a choice,” he said before signing the order July 8. “A moment to restore the rights that have been taken away from us, and the moment to protect our nation from an extremist agenda that is antithetical to everything we believe as Americans.”

He repeatedly referred to abortion as “health care” and called abortion drugs “medication.”

Biden, a Catholic, has repeatedly supported abortion in contrast with the Catholic Church’s teaching that human life must be respected and protected from the moment of conception.

The president signed the “Executive Order Protecting Access to Reproductive Health Care Services” at the White House in the presence of Vice President Kamala Harris, Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Xavier Becerra, and U.S. Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco.

In the order, Biden states his administration’s policy to support “women's right to choose” as “essential to justice, equality, and our health, safety, and progress as a Nation.”

The order focuses on four general areas, according to a White House fact sheet: access to “reproductive health care services”; patients’ privacy and access to information; the security of patients, providers, and clinics; and the coordination of federal efforts to protect “reproductive rights and access to health care.”

Biden is the most evil human being to ever inhabit the White House. He is a corrupt, philandering child abuser who would rather climb a tree to tell a lie than stand his ground and make a true statement. It is unbelievable that he is more evil than owebama but he is much, much worse.

A meaningless executive order meant to placate the looney left.

Pregnancy is not a disease! At least be honest. "Certain women want to kill their unborn babies or poducts of conception" . That's their choice. But it certainly is not a disease. It's ending the life growing inside. It will be sold for high value sub components and what's left goes into the dumpster.

I've never read such wordsmithed nuances before in my life. It is what it is.

Who are these women who need constant abortions?

Add one more reason on the list of 1000 reasons why he should be impeached.

Did you hear the latest, where he took our oil reserves which he said he was releasing to try to lower gas prices in the USA, and what did he do? He gave it all to foreign countries including a million barrels to China.

If Republicans sweep the midterms, which I doubt, and they do nothing about this Biden - which I fully expect if they do win - then that is THE finish line, this country is gone.

“...why was biden able to shut down the keystone pipeline by EO but not change the rule on abortions.”

Nobody is talking about this, especially the media, so please let me render a guess. The federal government controls interstate commerce within the US with the approval of border level cross permits. So if the state department says no on the approval of the permit, the buck stops there. Obama in November of 2015 was the first to shut it down. But through court litigations and stays, it all continued until Year before last.

Abortion, with the legality being taken away from the federal government, where it never should have been, has been tossed out of it and the states’ rights under the 10th amendment come into focus because it is now no longer a legal problem the feds can direct as it is now a medical determination which falls under states rights. Same situation with covid and the offered assistance of Trump which was turned down by a number of states. Goose/gander

Speaking of lines. Do or should the American people have a “red line”?

It never ceases to amaze me that if you substituted “slavery” for “abortion” and “public safety” for “medical care”, how closely aligned the democrat party would be with the Confederacy. The more things change, they more they stay the same.

patients’ privacy and access to information; the security of patients, providers, and clinics; and the coordination of federal efforts to protect “reproductive rights and access to health care.”

Is he saying that he will put federal marshals in front of abortion clinics to bar local law enforcement from enforcing state laws?

States have the legal ability to recover damages for the lost tax revenue a murdered baby would otherwise produce just as much as states have a right to collect damages from cigarette companies for states’ Medicaid costs.

Shareholders and executives of say an abortion chemical company can be made jointly and severally liable for such tax loss damages.

The federal government has the power to raise armies, and piggyback necessary and proper power to ensure enough draftees.

Baby murder reduces the number of possible draftees.

POTUS CAN NOT DOES NOT have the power to create law. No one is obliged to obey presidential EOs except federal employees. POTUS is the chief executive of the federal branch of government but we have presidents and a judicial system and not a monarch for that very reason.

Joe Bite-Me IS NOT the boss me OR YOU (unless you happen to work for him). Nothing he says or does (or thinks he remembers saying or doing) can force medical professionals to do anything contrary to their principles or that flies in the face of a SCOTUS decision.
