Apparently, Christianity is no longer acceptable in the marketplace of ideas, Twitter.
An associate pastor in Texas, Gabriel Hughes, was just permanently banned from Twitter with no stated explanation from the social media site.
Gabe is a popular Twitter user in conservative Christian circles and is often seen as "controversial" because he actually preaches the Bible.
The tweet that got him the perma-boot from Twitter was one in which he stated that all sin is worthy of death, which is kinda the underlying premise for God's redemptive work throughout the entirety of the Bible believed over thousands of years by billions of people.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23
Gabriel didn't just leave things at the first half of the verse, the death penalty, but instead instructed those who read his tweet to repent and believe in Christ.
He didn't even go full-blown 1 Corinthians 6:9-11:
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
And don't even get me started on the actual words of Jesus:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God." – John 3:16-18
Preaching the Gospel gets you kicked off Twitter. Got it.
Well no WONDER they banned him! The last thing the wokies want is for people to turn to Christ!
The people, if there are people, who make these determinations based on if someone hurt their feelings. Obviously a queer witch in this case.
The Christian message is like a mirror that the unsaved look in which reveals their sin and ugliness. They think,that if they pull the covers over their faces so to speak, that they will be invisible. So they think that banning the message will mean they aren’t guilty. Or somehting.
Twitter has dropped 20% in value with the overall market decline, and given that they admitted to having a high percentage of fake accounts - I really doubt Elon Musk goes through with this deal as originally negotiated.

the real question is why is he on twitter in the first place?
Maybe he wanted to share Jesus with people and Twitter was a place he thought he could do it. What a Shane.

That’s what I’d like to know.
Given that they don’t produce anything, I’m surprised Twitter has any value at all. Like FR it is a service that if you wish to use, pay something, or it goes away.
Although both services have a common problem, seemingly arbitrary banning permanently and without the possibility of redemption. Not very Christian.

I have noticed Twitter is back to their full on woke BS recently. I think they know Elon is not going for it.
He hasn’t tweeted in over a week, which is out of character for Musk.

Not shocked. To include good, decent, well-intentioned murderers in with that lot is inexcusable.
