Thought that was it. I ran across it in my research, but as it had no connection to Ruth per se, I omitted it.

I'm glad you posted it, because it's a beautiful painting. But without specific connection, it doesn't belong in my lineup.

However, when you post your lineup, I'll fully expect to see it.

Ahhhh.. alas, I haven’t had the conversion you may have thought.

The line of David is the line of the Messiah. From the times of the exile to Babylon, Jews have acknowledged the line of David. We did so for 900+ years until the son-after-son of King David fled Muslim rule finally, settling in Potrugal. And after the expulsion in 1493, throughout Europe. And from there to America and Israel.

My senior partner, for instance, a son-after-son from David, could well be the Messiah. We have a few thousand candidates. Stay tuned for big news!
