Prayers for my dog, please
He has a large hard lump on his hock and considering his breed, I fear it could be bone cancer.
I don't have a lot in life but I do have him and pray that I will have him many more years.
He has a vet appointment today at 4:15 and I hope the vets can manage to xray his hock.
He really freaks out when they try to take him away from me in the vet hospital so that part is very difficult for them and him. I just want him to be healthy and free of cancer. I just lost his half sister in November when she dropped head of cardiac in the back yard and this is just beyond what I can bear. I wish I had better words to express how much this means to me but I'm not very 'with it' right now.

Praying for you. Generally these are just fat lumps. I have a Weimaraner and these are common with this breed.
You have my sympathies about his half-sister and my prayers for him and for you.
Prayers for your canine companion. They are like family, and so hard to lose.
I’m praying Shari! Trust that God loves your dog and desires for him to be fine. Often, these knots are lipomas, fatty, harmless growths. My dog has one on HIS hock as well.
