Following his recitation of the Angelus with the pilgrims in St. Peter’s Square, Pope Francis addressed the subject of the COP26 'climate change' conference currently being held in Glasgow, Scotland.
VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) – In his Sunday Angelus address Pope Francis asked the Church to pray so that the assembled global leaders at the COP26 climate conference might hear the “cry of the earth” and “of the poor.”
The Pontiff did not mention any moral crisis.
Following his recitation of the Angelus with the pilgrims in St. Peter’s Square, Pope Francis addressed the subject of the COP26 “climate change” conference currently being held in Glasgow, Scotland.
In his brief comments, Francis asked the Church “to pray so that the cry of the Earth and the cry of the poor might be heard; that this meeting might provide efficacious responses, offering concrete hope to future generations.”
The Pope also referred to a photo exhibition being held in St. Peter’s Square from October 31 through November 8, which is supposed “to push the issue of the care of creation at COP26 in Glasgow.”

That's why, for me, no Pope defines Catholicism, let alone all of Christianity. I want to see humility in the papacy.
When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.
Once upon a time there were some men in a boat. A great storm came up and the men were very scared for their lives. Climate Change was surely out to kill them, they thought. But they were wrong. Their Leader who was asleep during the waves and wind howlings was awoken by the men. “Master, what shall we do? Do you not care we are about to die”? The Master raised up His arms and summoned the wind to stop. And it did. This was because the Leader was a true Man of God with faith that God controls the weather and not man.
