Unfortunately, that's not true. There have been some very, very lost souls in the papacy.
That's why, for me, no Pope defines Catholicism, let alone all of Christianity. I want to see humility in the papacy.
When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.
Once upon a time there were some men in a boat. A great storm came up and the men were very scared for their lives. Climate Change was surely out to kill them, they thought. But they were wrong. Their Leader who was asleep during the waves and wind howlings was awoken by the men. “Master, what shall we do? Do you not care we are about to die”? The Master raised up His arms and summoned the wind to stop. And it did. This was because the Leader was a true Man of God with faith that God controls the weather and not man.
