Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Psalm 147
1 Praise the Lord.[a]
How good it is to sing praises to our God,
how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
he gathers the exiles of Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
4 He determines the number of the stars
and calls them each by name.
5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.
6 The Lord sustains the humble
but casts the wicked to the ground.
7 Sing to the Lord with grateful praise;
make music to our God on the harp.
8 He covers the sky with clouds;
he supplies the earth with rain
and makes grass grow on the hills.
9 He provides food for the cattle
and for the young ravens when they call.
10 His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse,
nor his delight in the legs of the warrior;
11 the Lord delights in those who fear him,
who put their hope in his unfailing love.
12 Extol the Lord, Jerusalem;
praise your God, Zion.
13 He strengthens the bars of your gates
and blesses your people within you.
14 He grants peace to your borders
and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.
15 He sends his command to the earth;
his word runs swiftly.
16 He spreads the snow like wool
and scatters the frost like ashes.
17 He hurls down his hail like pebbles.
Who can withstand his icy blast?
18 He sends his word and melts them;
he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow.
19 He has revealed his word to Jacob,
his laws and decrees to Israel.
20 He has done this for no other nation;
they do not know his laws.[b]
Praise the Lord.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

HALLELUJAH!
Oh LORD, Our God,
How Excellent Is Your Name Over All The Earth!
We Praise and Worship You;
For You Alone Are Worthy;
You Alone Are LORD;
You Alone Are The One True God of the Universe!
Blessed Are You Oh LORD, Our God,
King of the Universe,
Ancient of Days,
LORD of Hosts,
Rock of All Ages!
1. Praise the LORD!
For it is good to sing praises to our God;
For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.
Behold, You,
Who Keep Watch Over Us,
Never Slumber, Nor Sleep.
2. The LORD builds up Jerusalem;
He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
3. He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
4. He counts the number of the stars;
He calls them all by name.
5. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power;
His understanding is infinite.
6. The LORD lifts up the humble;
He casts the wicked down to the ground.
Lord, we lift up Our Brothers and Sisters trapped in Afghanistan.
7. Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving;
Sing praises on the harp to our God,
8. Who covers the heavens with clouds,
Who prepares rain for the earth,
Who makes grass to grow on the mountains.
9. He gives to the beast its food,
And to the young ravens that cry.
We Now Passionately Pray For Our Beloved Country,
In This Time of Her Distress.
10. He does not delight in the strength of the horse;
He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
11. The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him,
In those who hope in His mercy.
Father, We pray for an END to Lies,
Slander, Blood Libel,
Propaganda,
Against Your Beloved.
We Pray For An End to Slavery,
Hostage-Taking,
and Piracy
wherever it is Practiced Around the World.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews,
In Bondage in Hostile lands,
12. Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem!
Praise your God, O Zion!
13. For He has strengthened the bars of your gates;
He has blessed your children within you.
14. He makes peace in your borders,
And fills you with the finest wheat.
15. He sends out His command to the earth;
His word runs very swiftly.
16. He gives snow like wool;
He scatters the frost like ashes;
17. He casts out His hail like morsels;
Who can stand before His cold?
18. He sends out His word and melts them;
He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19. He declares His word to Jacob,
His statutes and His judgments to Israel.
20. He has not dealt thus with any nation;
And as for His judgments, they have not known them.
Praise the LORD!
Let All That Has Been Concealed,
Be Revealed.
LORD, We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews,
In Bondage in Hostile lands.
We Pray For Our Beloved USA
We Ask That Your People Receive Wisdom from You
To do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

A few years ago, my doctor recommended a full Cardio-Workup because of an odd EKG. I spent the whole day at the cardiologist, walking on a treadmill, being scanned, and whatever else they subject patients to in order to diagnose heart problems. At the end of the session, the doctor determined that I have a "perfect heart", in spite of the odd EKG. When I asked him about that, he just said, "That's just YOU. You have your own rhythm." I replied that Mom used to say I "marched to the beat of a different drummer." I thought she had made that up, but it is a quote from Henry David Thoreau. Nevertheless, I informed the doctor that my heart wasn't perfect because it was not unbreakable.
My heart is breaking for my country right now. I am so appalled at what is going on that it's affecting everything I do. Please, as we join in prayer today, could you pray for our beloved Nation, and say one for me too?
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
"He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification." (Romans 4:25)

Joining in prayer as we lift up our brothers and sisters trapped in Afghanistan. We pray for their covering. We pray that they may seek shelter in the Most High.
Lord, we also lift up the families of those killed and wounded yesterday. May they seek comfort in Your Holy Spirit.
We pray in the name of Jesus.
Amen

Psalm 51
To the leader. A Psalm of David, when the prophet Nathan came to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.
1 Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your steadfast love;
according to your abundant mercy
blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is ever before me.
4 Against you, you alone, have I sinned,
and done what is evil in your sight,
so that you are justified in your sentence
and blameless when you pass judgement.
5 Indeed, I was born guilty,
a sinner when my mother conceived me.
6 You desire truth in the inward being;*
therefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness;
let the bones that you have crushed rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins,
and blot out all my iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and put a new and right* spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from your presence,
and do not take your holy spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
and sustain in me a willing* spirit.
13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
and sinners will return to you.
14 Deliver me from bloodshed, O God,
O God of my salvation,
and my tongue will sing aloud of your deliverance.
15 O Lord, open my lips,
and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 For you have no delight in sacrifice;
if I were to give a burnt-offering, you would not be pleased.
17 The sacrifice acceptable to God* is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
18 Do good to Zion in your good pleasure;
rebuild the walls of Jerusalem,
19 then you will delight in right sacrifices,
in burnt-offerings and whole burnt-offerings;
then bulls will be offered on your altar.

Not only joining you in prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, but for our beloved America.
May this be a great wake up call. May all that has been concealed be revealed. May our people look up to God for our deliverance, not the government or slick talking politician.
May the evil be turned to good.
In Jesus Name
Amen
