Excellent lessons, all.
Especially loved this... “For the word of the Cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God.”

All true believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. For the antichrist to appear, that influence will be removed; and in doing so, the Rapture has to occur first to keep God’s promise to keep us from that coming wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10; 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10; Revelation 3:10). So, what are believers supposed to "endure until the end"....if believers are all raptured out ""before"" the wrath of the tribulation? It's a nice dream... but since the beginning Christians have been persecuted and slaughtered. I don't think we're going to get that lucky....especially the way things are already going (leftists/communists/Muslims against Christians). We're not special, just because we're living in the end days or the beginning of the end days. We will be made to suffer just as Christians have always previously suffered. I don't like the reality, but it is what it is.
9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

“And then many will fall away and betray one another, and hate one another."
The vitriol being carelessly spoke by politicians, military leaders, teachers and even medical staff is astounding. This would not have happened twenty years ago. The lack of manners or civility by professionals is degrading at an alarming rate. It is easy to see political differences and vaccination status will become real stumbling blocks for an open society.

There is a split ongoing in the church I attend due to a narcissistic pastor who spread lies about a fellow pastor and has done nothing to stop the ongoing rumors. When I was working in an ER the things I heard providers say about patients would result in multi million dollar lawsuits if it were made public. Even on a site like this, the level of snark and rudeness is astounding. We have reached a point where if you disagree with 0.01% of what a person says it gives you reason to be as nasty and underhanded as possible.

Nice collection of verses. I believe conditions will get so bad before the rapture, that few Christians will be left alive to be raptured.

Just heard a “sermon” last week on how Christians were going to take back America.
I’m watching the opposite happen; at an alarming rate, too.

The best scenario of all this is Luke 21:28, where Jesus tells us to look up when all this starts to take place because our redemption is near. All who have truly received and accepted Jesus as their Savior will not be here for the worst 7-year period of time this world has ever seen. But Jesus does not say that "all who have accepted Jesus as their Savior will not be here during the tribulation"... did he. I believe he would have clearly stated that, if it were true....since he clearly spelled out everything else.
I think that spreading false hope is more of a threat to people's faith than preparing them for what is to come. Many will lose their faith when they find themselves living and "enduring" the tribulation. The devil will be whispering to them that it was all a lie and many will fall.
Regarding Luke 21:28: I don't understand why you used this passage to point to your theory of a pre-trib rapture. It just doesn't make sense to me...since the previous verse clearly states that "they" (meaning all) shall see the Son of man coming with power and great glory. Previous verses describe what happens during the tribulation. And yet... the pre-trib rapture is supposed to be something that comes "like a thief in the night"...before the tribulation. If all will see, it means that Jesus is coming, finally, to defeat Satan...at the END of the tribulation.

The mechanics (ABCs) of redemption are found in Romans 10:9-13, which ends by saying that “All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” God will force no one to accept His Son, but He will not turn anyone away who truly calls on Jesus. The event known as the Rapture could take place at any moment of any day now. Regarding the "saved": I believe this means that all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved from damnation...saved from Hell...
not saved from the tribulation. I believe if it meant saved from enduring the tribulation, it would have said that. Again, what did Jesus mean by "enduring until the end"? He meant enduring the tribulation.
Again, IMHO ...giving false hope to Christians will do more harm than good re: the pre-trib rapture theory. I have family members that are Christians, but are weak...to the point that I fear they would lose their faith completely if they live long enough to have to endure the tribulation. It just won't compute with them due to what they've been "told" by pre-trib rapture preachers.

I'd agree with your take. The trajectory of the churches today appears to be gearing up for the inclusiveness of the One World Church we know is coming.....their messages resonates this ‘collective’ approach just as the Catholic Pope purposes. All faiths are leaning into that drumbeat ...unfortunately the gospel message may or not be ‘tacked on’ to make it palatable but is not the central message.

And it had no biblical basis
It was pure speculation and hope of bridging the right and the left
Frankly I think the sheep and the goats are being divided

There’s always been counterfeit Christianity....unfortunately it’s gotten better at disguising itself in this day and age that appeals to ‘all the senses’ this generation has been wired for. (Lights, camera’s, setting the mood, coloring the stages to reflect a heightened or somber feel) while pastors liven things up with sweet saucy appeals to those emotions.

Yeah I agree with your assessment.
Whoever preached that “sermon” has no clue and hasn’t done much thorough study of Biblical Eschatology.
