The one, holy, and apostolic Church is very much alive despite some of the filth that needs to be cleansed by the Holy Spirit.
They had a chance to show courage and integrity. There are rules in the Church. Follow them or break them.
Like high school kids are who choose to keep quiet about the narcotics and carjacking rings because to speak out would take courage. Choose one or the other.
Many Catholic bishops and priests wanted to be popular and modern and cool. So loosen up, knowingly let bad things be accepted, and get a lot more money in the coffers and a lot more people coming to church services.
Bad side will be not only the big exodus of people as has already been happening, but the totalitarian clamp downs of the Dems and BLM Communists. The situation in China is extremely similar to the trend for the Catholics here. They are now forced to worship with current Chinese political leaders equally worshipped alongside Jesus and venerated equally to Mary and the saints. Many in China have services in basements. Many priests disappeared. Families are discriminated against for being Christians.
Allowing Pelosi and Biden to violate Church rules and laws is wrong. It feels gushy and cool but what if others ask for divorce, marriage between gays, support for euthanasia and assisted suicide, and Church funding and vans to help women get abortions? Why not? It will be popular and cool.
They are splitting their Church to please the Dems. And by the way, there was a quick crack of the whip over them when the Dems said they could cut off tax free Church status (and fund donations) and Catholic school accreditation if they showed opposition.
