After all, Satan's bait was that Adam and Eve would become as gods. And together with Satan, that would seem to them to be at least two or possibly three gods (if Satan was believed to be a god as well) against one.
Only if you get past the omnipotent Mary of Catholicism first!
Not to worry, for I will.
As long as I still am able to do so.
REVELATION 22:1-2 niv
1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
Plenty; it seems...

DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS
OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS
SECTION 71
Revelation given to Joseph Smith the Prophet and Sidney Rigdon, at Hiram, Ohio, December 1, 1831. HC 1: 238–239. The Prophet had continued to translate the Bible with Sidney Rigdon as his scribe until this revelation was received, at which time it was temporarily laid aside so as to enable them to fulfill the instruction given herein. The brethren were to go forth to preach in order to allay the unfriendly feelings that had developed against the Church as a result of the publication of some newspaper articles by Ezra Booth, who had apostatized.
1–4, Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon are sent forth to proclaim the gospel; 5–11, Enemies of the saints shall be confounded.
1 Behold, thus saith the Lord unto you my servants Joseph Smith, Jun., and Sidney Rigdon, that the time has verily come that it is necessary and expedient in me that you should open your mouths in proclaiming my gospel, the things of the kingdom, expounding the mysteries thereof out of the scriptures, according to that portion of Spirit and power which shall be given unto you, even as I will.
2 Verily I say unto you, proclaim unto the world in the regions round about, and in the church also, for the space of a season, even until it shall be made known unto you.
3 Verily this is a mission for a season, which I give unto you.
4 Wherefore, labor ye in my vineyard. Call upon the inhabitants of the earth, and bear record, and prepare the way for the commandments and revelations which are to come.
5 Now, behold this is wisdom; whoso readeth, let him understand and receive also;
6 For unto him that receiveth it shall be given more abundantly, even power.
7 Wherefore, confound your enemies; call upon them to meet you both in public and in private; and inasmuch as ye are faithful their shame shall be made manifest.
8 Wherefore, let them bring forth their strong reasons against the Lord.
9 Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you—there is no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper;
10 And if any man lift his voice against you he shall be confounded in mine own due time.
11 Wherefore, keep my commandments; they are true and faithful. Even so. Amen.

“Adam was not deceived.”
Agreed. It so states in scripture.
“This is a big deal.”
You might want to apply your reasoning to that statement.
Regardless, Adam and Eve were together removed from the garden, and began their mortal journey away from the garden’s bounty and companionship of their God.
“What Adam did fits the definition of suicide.”
I completely disagree. Adam did what Adam needed to do under the circumstances. Otherwise had he remained in the garden and Eve expelled, Satan would have won the day.
” It becomes obvious that God intended man to know good and evil.”
That is a very profound statement and true. How was that accomplished?
“Their nakedness shows lack of righteous”
In my opinion it shows they partook of the fruit, and they were no longer innocent and immortal. In the garden they were naked to begin with, but were not aware, as they were innocent, and not knowing good and evil until partaking of the fruit of the tree of knowledge. As you are aware God in his mercy clothed them with skins before they were cast out.
” Note that God does not and never will tell us to eat of the tree of life. That would be a law which could have given life.”
Not real sure what you mean by this statement. For me Jesus the Christ is the bread of life and our continuance in the eternities is based on his atonement wrought in the garden of Gethsemane and on the Cross. It seems to me that the tree of life is in some way associated with our Savior.
Typical of Mormon apologists, you make an assertion but have not provided a single BIBLE passage to support your assertion that there is scriptural proof in THE BIBLE for your mormonism claims. That exposes you as a prevaricator. And who is the father of prevarication? ... Yeah, your entire religion is antithetical to the Gospel of Grace, a Gospel you have yet to comprehend apart from the fraudulent lense of mormonism.
Matt 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. When Christ returns, some flesh will be preserved to live into the millennium
Rev 20:7-8 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. What are these nations? Will these people have access to the tree of life during the 1000 years? Are these the people that will be ruled with a rod of iron?
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:Adam was prevented access to the tree of life because he could have lived forever in a sinful state by eating the fruit one time.
Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.” Note that God does not and never will tell us to eat of the tree of life. That would be a law which could have given life.”
Gal 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
Why compound your problem. Just stick with the Bible? You will ultimately just add to your confusion by adding scripture you don’t agree with.
No, daniel, you’re carelessly making accusations that aren’t true and that get wilder all the time, including disregarding that God Himself said Adam listened to his wife’s voice in eating the forbidden fruit. You’re mischaracterizing a discussion thread on topics very close to God’s heart. He wants us studying His Word, and as Christians we are to be salt and light in this world despite not being perfect like Christ.
It can mean the general region, but since it says first that she gave it to him, and the “with her” seems to be partly an explanation on that (as in something like, “he was close by, so she gave him some”) it’s hard to say either way. But even if he was right there and heard it all, no it wouldn’t absolve Eve of her disobedience. If that’s what happened, it clearly didn’t because God said as much.
It is interesting that God in His divine wisdom has for the time being held back so much of what happened in the Garden, as He often does elsewhere in His Word, giving us not much more than the fact that all three did wrong, and then some bits of information here and there.
This is a link to an article I found that discusses some of the possibilities, given what we’ve been told. I think I disagree with some of it but it is interesting nevertheless.
https://answersingenesis.org/adam-and-eve/was-adam-with-eve-when-she-spoke-to-the-serpent/
No, it’s true, but he did sin. In verse 17 God faults him for listening to or heeding the voice of his wife, though that’s all we’re told about it.
I read an article that says Abram also listened to his wife and so had Ishmael by Hagar. I haven’t checked into it yet if it’s the same wording in the original Hebrew, but it would be interesting if it was.
Rather, once again you are shown to be wrong, for once again nothing is said of Adam speaking to Eve, much less conspiring with her and the devil against God, all of which you can only read into the Bible. You are insistently and wrongly off on a tangent - God knows why - and it is not good, and only impugns your credence, besides unnecessarily taking more of my time. Bye.
Say!
There ARE a lot of similarities!!

What circumstances?
A direct order from GOD that needed to be disobeyed?
What a strange religion you follow.
Sorry; but GOD already did that.
Genesis 2:15-17
The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”
In fact...
Genesis 3:22-24
22 Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—” 23 therefore the Lord God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. 24 He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.
You mean like polygamy is STILL found in LDS scripture?
GOD never appeared to any of your Living Prophets© to remove the Requirement for Exaltation.
Revelation 22:2 seems to indicate otherwise.
It is interesting that Adam didn’t eat from the tree of life when he had the chance. It would be the equivalent of salvation but man must recognize the need before he will take the free gift. God cannot compel us to receive it because of Galatians 3:21. It is offered in Genesis and Revelation.
Thank the Lord that He’s the ultimate, perfect Judge of all.
