Link to video of young people on the Traditional Latin Mass

It's called CONFLICT and I think made in 1973.
After having an organist and Gregorian Chant throughout my youth. The first time I heard a guitar and HAD to shake hands with whomever was near...that was the end of it. I never went back.
Honest question. Never went back means left the church or what exactly?
Interesting video, thanks. Makes sense that young people would be starved for order and beauty.
Interesting that none of them seems to understand a word of it or—be inspired to learn the Latin to understand it.
How did you come to that deduction (false as it is)?
“Interesting that none of them seems to understand a word of it or—be inspired to learn the Latin to understand it.“
It’s so silly
I have been attending mass for quite a few years. They say it in Latin and suddenly I don’t know what is being said?
The gospel and the readings âre done in the vernacular.
Geeze
Because those in the video who address it say they don’t understand it and nobody says it inspired them to learn the Latin. Those who don’t address it sound like they’re tripping on some melo psychedelic music that helps them manage their anxiety.
You don’t need to learn Latin to understand it, you just need to shell out $80 for a missal, which will have the Latin in the left column and the English in the right.
Sure, but still so little curiosity and initiative.

One distinction that should be noted is that with the traditional mass it is stressed that the priest is talking to God and you are there to send your prayers and adoration with the priest to God. After all, part of the mass ( for those who don’t know ) is whispered, so unless you are following your missal you aren’t going to know what is said even if you are fluent in Latin.
Old joke- an older novus ordo parishioner visited a traditional mass and after thanked the priest and said she enjoyed the mass but at certain points couldn’t hear what he was saying- the priest smiled and gently replied “That’s OK, I wasn’t talking to you”.
Not one person in the video said they didn't understand it.
Your dishonesty is quite revealing.
You know who else hates the Tradition Mass and the Latin language? Satan.
If it weren’t for all the pew calistenics, they would sleep for an hour, because they wouldn’t understand what was being said.
Like the Missal we had in 60s
Stop with the false accusations crap and watch the video again. You are the one who is wrong.
And I like the traditional mass AND Latin.
It’s idiots like you I sometimes have a hard time appreciating.
I remember when a single Latin service was offered in a church in Phoenix. Many Catholics who had not attended mass in decades attended and were weeping their eyes out. Elderly were brought in on wheelchairs and even a gurney or two.
The crowd was SRO, and they had to bring in many tall floor fans, because the a/c couldn’t cut it, though it was not summer. Some of the older Hispanic women were wearing the “Catholic burka”. It was too hot in the church for small children and infants, so the Priest, soaked in sweat, met with them after the mass.
Some of the elderly were desperate to have confession, as they were afraid it might be their last chance in life.
Why would sick individuals want to take that away from them?
I watched the video, twice. Not one person said they didn’t understand.
If you claim otherwise, post a time (min:sec) into the video where it occurs.
Otherwise, enjoy your crow dinner.
It’s said that the devil has no knees to worship Christ.
Do you lack them also?
